I have converted to a manual one with no issues so I'm saying yes lol
-
You would want a r33 turbo one for obvious reasons though unless u dont care about having no boost meter
-
Can you remove a stock rb25 turbo without jacking up the car?
-S- replied to sonicz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Jacking it up will make it easier? How so? -

I had almost the same issue. I thought swapping to the trusty bcpr7es will fix but no. My car prefers the expensive iridium. .. (don't ask me why.i did a lot of back to back testing. look for 1 of my post) but the plan in the future is to get splitfires and retry the copper plugs... im thinking tired coil packs. .btw I don't suffer misfire using iridium though just wondering why using coppers i misfire that's all. .

Well yes you're right. There are arguably one of the best to restore power/issues based on price & quality compared to oem ones. The oem ones lasted about a decade or more. .. just wished the splitfires were built to last longer than oem that's all lol but then again it's already priced cheaper than oem ... meh. ..
-
Which is why i hesitated to get split fires. But then again it's cheaper than oem. Wish there was another reliable cheaper brand other than electric tape
-
I would check spark plugs too

Will a 33 pwr Fc work in a 34 with patch Harness
-S- replied to R31/4 GTT/S's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Not sure if this helps but i knew a guy who used a r33 pfc on a neo. He mentioned something about wiring. But i didn't ask more. But in sure someone will know around here -
Well guess it's a bit over kill then but ok
-
Apologies for hijacking but quick one...( instead of starting a new thread) , can i apply this on a r33 rb25det? Basically arp head bolts and studs and oem head gasket for a bone stock 380rwhp street car.

Well i was stating the fact that i do know about that spread sheet u shared. (And that i did read about it and not just ask without searching) I downloaded a pdf version from this thread. Only recently i came across what tomei mentioned and was a bit confused. But nonetheless now i can be sure it's OK to use them in hydraulic type lifters. -

I have that pdf file ok (downloaded that like 5 months back! ) so don't go assuming i didn't read through this thread wise ass! That's why i asked to be sure after recently researching and read what tomei posted! -

Exactly my point. I thought tomei mentioned the restrictors are for solid engines only?
