Agreed Drift_Limo, putting all those below threads as a separate sticky link would be better then been hidden in that one "Sticky: All Sticky Threads are in HERE" link. Your probably best calling or going into a aircon-heater-auto elec place and seeing where they recommend looking. I'm sure the australian delivered maxima or some other nissan of the same era would have a similar setup. I tried looking on the FAST software to no avail...

another reason why i don't think alot of ppl here don't use them is the legalities of putting one in. i know in vic to put one in would require a engineer's cert, and because of the exhuast been changed sides, fuel lines, engine mounts etc etc would be more hassel then just swaping for a rb25 which basically bolts straight up with very minimal issues. but yeah i'm still with the others, if u could get some info the transplant that would be sweet!
-
cheers for that Resin, read both those threads. were pretty interesting. You have me hooked on getting one now! Espec that i'm not after huge power figures either and i also get that same drop in power after a bit of revs. Don't seem too pricey either.

is there much difference in cooling efficiency from the r34gtt item over the stock ceffy item?

Rb25gearbox (few Other Changes Needed)
BenA31 replied to BDF1663's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
only a few threads down and you would of seen there is a thread directly talking about this.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=103164 -
Well few of us over in the Cefiro section are thinking of getting some stickers made up at one point. If any of you guys/girls have any free time and wanna help us out it would be great. Basically its gonna be a sticker that somehow mentions "Cefiros Australia" or "www.cefirosaustralia.com" and will be used on car windows so can't include too many colours or details if you get what i mean. Few of us have made a few designs over at http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=121768 which is the thread on it. Post any up in that ^ thread not here if thats alright.. Cheers!

How Do I Remove An A31 Back Seat?

dude that looks sweet. very clean too. makes me miss my 4 door r32. haha love the hanger shot, u work at a airport?
-
: hmm i don't recall this on my previous r32 4 door. ecu was located in same spot as the coupe, in the passenger footwell. -Don't forget to get a compression or leak down test done, will give you some sort of indication the condition of the motor. -Have a look at the condition of the coolant and the oil, well pretty much all the fluids. Gives an indication of how well its been maintained. -Not sure if this works, but i've heard if you want to test how straight the car is, on a dry day wet the tyres and drive the car slowly in a straight line, if the tyre marks from the wheels don't overlap evenly on both sides, it could indicate a problem. -Check rust like others have said above. -Also as mentioned check all electrics work, pain i had with mine was when i went to get RWC, i found out front dimister didn't work and therefore had to fix that as i didn't pick it up when i looked at it. -Check the Tiens for leaks or odd noises. They won't be cheap to rebuild.

dude if its what ur describing. all cars have it, it controls the speed of the wipers when in the intermittent mode. lol i wish it set how far the wipers sit under the bonnet thou. bloody shits me when i'm cleaning my car and can't put the wipers up. other then that they do look good when not in use been hidden and all.

i had this problem, thou greased basically everything possible (btw when u do this make sure u don't spray ur clutch plate!!), still didn't go. ended up having to remove box replace the pivot release ball and withdrawl lever, they had excessive movement in them causing a metal on metal kinda squeak. Also replaced clutch slave cylinder at same time, cause mid bleeder went only a few weeks earlier and once one goes, generally they all start to fail at same time.

^ think that was an issue between calder and Fullock (group that used to run the drift events, Victorian Drift Club is now doing it) plus a concern that too many ppl were dropping thier wheels off under the bridge ripping up and damaging the side of the track, which now seems a compromise has been made with the tyre barriers. Could be rather interesting to spectate..hmm

lol its all good dude, was only messin with ya. i do agree with you thou, particularly with your last point.
