  1. I will be putting in an entry form tomorrow if things to go plan tonight.
  2. Done. Boobs FTW!
  3. Thanks Dave, I try, but those pesky cones keep jumping out in front of me.
  4. Always. Born fast.
  5. Advice = start saving now Tip1 - Start the event with new tyres, pads, fluid, clutch. Tip2 - Don't try to upgrade your car at the last minute. Stick with what you know. Tip3 - Have fun, Don't try to win it. Tip4 - Think up funny stickers
  6. Is this the famous "Bucket - O - Chips" ???
  7. OK - I'm back. The lull after Dutton has gone away (The one where you don't want to look at your car) I'm ready to go fast again. I'm pumped already.
  8. GTR FTW! I better find some motivation to pull my engine out and fix my diff/sump then.
  9. I'm thining of entering the Gemini, since the GTR is going to be off the road for a bit. My advice is do not do this day unless you are completly comfortable in your car. Don't do this event if you havn't done a few track days before. There is not much room for error.
  10. Lol - yeah I forgot about that.. So much fun. I look like a real muppet in that photo!
  11. Is that what we're calling 'team last minute' these days? SAU NSW ppl think that my car is sex - now they are right..
  12. Results updated to R6 - Thanks Bris.
  13. Sandown - 1m20.8 (The 1m19 will come soon...)
  14. Time for some vids - Check this one out. The SPC carpark event is one of the "big pressure" events because all the locals come out for a look and the whole field is watching you. It's an event you love to hate, but love it once you nail it. I'm always sh1tting myself before this one! More vids to come once I get a chance.
  15. What a massive weekend! Big congratulations to the level headed team Richmond / Paris taking out the 1st outright crew trophie. Richmond 2nd Driver outright - Paris 1st Co-Driver outright. They had a points lead at the end of day one and just drove smart and safe and didn't make any mistakes to take out the event win. Adam and I had mechanical issues, when I smashed the front diff on a launch on the back track and had rear wheel drive only. We pushed on for two more events, but one of the smashed gears got caught in the crown wheel and punched a hole in the diff casing. Therefore I missed out on three events and Newton missed out on five events. So we loaded the GTR onto the back of the H2 Hummer and headed back to Melbourne, arrived at Racepace @ 6:30pm and finished the diff repair about 10pm, arrived back in Shep @ 1:15am. Big thanks to Ian and Ben @ Racepace for offering to do the work after hours. We managed to survive the 2nd and 3rd day right up until the last event when the crack in the diff housing started to leak again as Adam pulled off. What are the odds? Even with missing three events I managed to claw back up to 14th Driver outright. Since we could no longer get into the top ten crew points, Adam and I decided to go for single event wins. So we pushed hard and got three single event fastest times each. The rest of team SAU / Wang had lots of success with everyone getting a mentions for various events and classes. Congrats to all.
  16. Yep I agree with this big time. Having the whole support team along for the ride makes it so much more special. Thanks All..
  17. This is why I run two fire extinguishers. One is never enough, one is designed to save your life, the other is to save the car.

  20. I say we just give him the trophie now. With moves like these how can he loose?
  21. For the back track a helmet is a must for driver and passenger. We are not strick on clothing lengths like a full sprint day is, however we suggest you wear full length clothes. All clothing must be nonflamable material (Cotton) and all shoes must be closed toe.
  22. Yeah Winton are AASA - So CAMS or AASA Licence is fine. Basically you need the same gear as a sprint day. So long clothes etc, etc..

  24. Oh well looks like Scott wont be coming to DECA: Death of Mr. Scott Bailey Pay your respects here: Official Scott Fan Club
  25. Some awesome vids guys. I think its great to see some of the older cars out there puting it hard with some modern engines. Keep it up.
