  1. OK Event Schedule done - Will be posted tomorrow at some time. (Thanks Snowy) Looks like we can run the day with a few more. Do you guys want in? Justin Marcus R33 GTST Sam Lothringer R32 GTST Wayne Beaumont R33 GTST Alan King EVO 7
  2. Interesting idea. Firstly, I think it sounds time consuming which is something i'm definatly limited on. Secondly we never wanted DECA to become an SAU only event, because it is such a good thing. If we implimendted something like this outsiders would stand even less of a chance. I also think something like this could start a lot of aruments too. But something to consider. Thanks Greg.
  3. I had two sets of new DS3000 front pads with me. But i'm saving myself for the real race. Start of the day, pads = 80% End of the day = 15%
  4. In my defence it was the breaks that caved under pressure. But the car is capable of a 1.19, so that's all I need to know.
  5. At this stage I would like to invite the following people from the reserves list into the event. Mark Lampard EVO James Ward EVO 8MR Mark Kelly R33 Andrew Dean R33 GTR Please let me know once you see this and confirm if you can make it / can't make it. Once I finish the event schedule and do some peliminary estimated timing, I can work out how many we can run with on the day.
  6. No thats fine - You can bring what ever car you like, as long as it's road worthyish.. A31Deviat - Get some temporary / unregistered vehicle permit. Say you need to drive it to Shep, VIC to show a potential buyer the car. Yes people i'm going to less and less time to read this thread, so PM me or SMS me if you are pulling out. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!
  7. Yeah Mr. Cryptic - Should apply for a job making crosswords or something.
  8. Thanks Russ. This is good to know, as I said i'm only going off what entries I do receive. I'll have a think about what we might be able to do for next year.
  9. Oh yeah - i'll take XL
  10. Cause that's cooler as in temperature cooler. White is cooler as in Top Gun cooler. White is the new Black. White is best for VIC, as we have already done black DECA shirts before. Plus we want to be contrasting to the NSWeshers, so that we all know who to hurl rotten fruit at. Adz and Scott can have a pink custom order.
  11. Thanks Syphon - I know you were only asking. At this stage we wont be doing a two day event. A volunteer system has crossed my mind. I think it's not realy a big issue, as we never have more than like three - five people that miss out. Basicaly to do a two day event we would need around 90 - 100 entries, and were not getting near that. Sure, probably a few people don't bother sending an entry in after the event hits 55, but I doubt if we would get to 100. Plus a two day event would mean that the Sat night festivities would be a little lame.
  12. I removed my handbreak boot and drilled a small hole through the base of the handbreak while depressing the button. The hole was right next to the ratchet release and I just put a little 2mm thick bold through it. Pull it off - have a look and this will make sense. A small bolt can hold the handbreak in.
  13. There are more than five people on the list that have not competed in a DECA before. So yes this has been done but for clarification this rule was not meant to apply only to SAU members. DECA is, and will remain an open event - The AASA public liability insurance we get is for a Multi-club motorkhana. I already increased the usualy 50 spots we take on the first day to 56, because there were a lot of entries coming in. It is true that I have added one additional spot to the main list since the first day the list was posted. But only one! This was due to an error on my behalf as I missed an email that came through from a member. So that person should have been on the list anyway, as the timing was before the entry list was full. It's just that I was a little tied up with the barrage of faxed that poured in constantly for 2 hours straight. Look, basically i'm becoming tired of these constant querries relating to the fairness of DECA entries. Please all be aware that I attempt to be as fair as possible to all, and I have changed the way we accept entries to try to make if fairer. I'm sorry that we can't please everyone, but it's simply a limited spots event. At the end of the day it's more than likely that only 5+ people who have sent me an entry form will miss out anyway.
  14. Thanks for confirming. VIC FTW!
  15. Yeah thanks for all you efforts thus far Juz. FYI - Juz's ongoing work has brought some major finacial contributions to this club and we should all thank her for this. Well done.
  16. Mr Moo isn't entered in DECA is he? Or is this Nigel?

  20. Ah - Just realised Ando31 is Iain.
  21. I know Jen has paid and was asking some questions regarding the entry form. But the rest of you need to get me an entry form. I have a list of VIC's just waiting to take up those spots. Sorry to have to take a hard line, but this event is less than three weeks away.
  22. I have entry forms from the following: Stephen Hugh-Smith (N1GTR) Supra RZ Nicholas Smyrnios (INTUNE) GTR Victor Huang (d00dz) R33 GTST Chris Quick (evil weevil) R33 GTST Jessica Hearne (Sinful) GTR Anna Burns (msnismo) R33 GTST Timothy Andriesen (tjandriesen) R33 GTR Samual McDonald (SAM916) R33 GTST Andrew Hearne (nuttshunglow) GTR The following are at risk of giving up there spots: Ando (A31Deviat) Shawn (Smoky) Liz (Liz) Brad (Risking) Jen (Tripin) Wayne (DJ Brave)
  23. Just to clarify. NSW Vice President pre arranged 15 spots for SAU NSW entrants with us way back at the last DECA. As they have to travel 7 hours to get to the event we have extended them some leniency. I was going to give them the entry form prior to entry's opening, but I didn't want them to leak to VIC and disadvantage you guys, so that's why they are still sending them through. Basically they are in a different boat and I have given them a different timeline to submit entries. If they fail to get me an entry form before tomorrow afternoon, then these spots will open up. If you have suggestion on how we could handle this better in the future please let me know.
  24. Yep, Got it. Thanks.
