Ahh, but the faded half memory's of strippers conning you out of the cash will last forever.

Wasn't released on all Aussie versions of the album I believe. Click Here

Lol, i'm glad you could lighten this thread up. Cause I could feel myself about to download the banned song from the bodycount album (ICE T) and go on a rampage. P.S We need a secretary (with hooters) to do the paperwork.

Dezz - best idea you have ever come up with. Put together a corporate proposal - we'll try to drum up some sponsorship and investors. We can get this thing off the ground. Imagine our own DECA day every friday night..

I disagree with some of that bris. True lets not shoot the messenger. (police on the beat) It's not his fault. It's just the same for the police as it is for the car enthusiasts. There are a few car enthusiasts who support these illegal drags and make us all look like hoons. Minority always spoils it for the majority. BUT Same goes for cops! There are a number of TMU who excercise the full extent of the law, even when it is not warranted and they are well known to us and to their peers as "import bashers" Again these few wreck the image of the police for the rest of the normal understanding and good blokes on the force. And I know for a fact that their superiors know about them, as do other members of the force who have a dislike for their methods. Now me for example, put me in a jury up against a young guy for something that is possibly trivial in my mind. Who am I going to give the benefit of the doubt to? I'm gonna think, nah stuff the prosecution, they didn't give me a fair go, why should I side with them? The VIC police know this, and they even have a term for it something like "jury corrupters" Now say it was a level playing field where TMU continued to punish those who were seen to be making mistakes on the road, but were quiet able to distinguish from the rest of us who are just driving a car they love, and are left alone as long as they drive sensibly. I am now happy, and now side with the law in court. It's people's own personal experiences with police in this area that has led to all this build up, and I know I have developed a dislike and feel a build up of hatred for some members of the force. It's only going to explode and this is what happened when the cops turned up to the drags on Friday. IMO - They must take some of the blame, for their inability to control their own self confessed super cops. (Robocop)

I saw the one of the R34. That's old. Anyone got the link to the skylines? Not my intention to chase anyone down, was just interested.
-
Publically. It is always going to be the standing of the club that we do not condone anything illegal. What members do in their own time is theirs, and people break the road laws all the time. However we ask that they be aware they are representatives of the club and the club hurts if they portrait a poor image. I like the idea and have though something similar should exist. But on the drivers licence. Has anyone seen any youtube footage of Skylines? Cause I have only seen commo's and a green gemini.

Yep, but you both need to pay and get a wrist band.

The clerk of course gets to make that call on the day. But if it is seriously wet the day wont go ahead. A slight drizzle wont stop a track day. Plus it's way more fun with a little water - trust me! If their is standing water the clerk of course will call the day done.

Don't get upset kiddies.... There are a fair few people on the list that are tentative entries as always. I think last time we advised all five people on the waiting they were able to come. Also, so that everyone is on the same page. We have decided in the interest of giving people a fair go, we will give five spots away to anyone who has not yet competed in a DECA day. So if you are in the waiting list and you have not yet done a DECA day, then you have a pretty good chance. We'll keep you updated.
-
You will be high on the waiting list if not already in Jason. Please be patient. Yep hold off payment for now. Send your forms in still thou. Snowy will update the list in the morning after his work commitments.

He has not been fined for a modified number plate (Which I believe is a fine they can give you) Therefore I believe the court can not take that into consideration when hearing him on a visibility of plate fine. Same goes for the front bar. Also if you stand up in front of the magistrate and they are convinced you were not intentionally breaking the law and were not aware of the law. They will withdraw the fine and put you on good behaviour thingy. (Can't remember the name of it) It's also worth while to dress nice and explain what a good boy you always are.

Got it - Forwarded to AR.

If I have to fix it for you, then i'm gonna break it. You better tell the Bannana to bend over.. And this time check your fluids!

Come on ppl you gotta beat 4 Hours.. Get to it!

After furthur reading on CT.com I realise this was not car enthusiasts causing this trouble. Therefore my previous post is not exactly relevant to this topic.
-
LOL. I had a mate there giving me half hourly updates last night. It sounded pretty crazy. On one hand it's only gonna make life harder for car enthusiasts with more police powers and changed legislations, and I hate what's happened as it will make all our lives harder. And I am very much against this type of behaviour. But on the other hand NP Maccas is a part of growing up and stuff like this will still continue to happen with 18-20 year old drivers unaware that bigger and better ways exists to enjoy your car such as what we have here at SAU. But we all need to remember that back in the day YOU were hanging around a maccas carpark too. So don't be too quick to judge most people. As with anything it's the minority that spoils it. It's just sad that young drivers see this as their only way to vent their car frustration. I have a few mates that visit these type of events regularly and I always try to make them aware of what we do at the club and how much fun our DECA days are, so as they understand that there are better options.

Ash is right. You will win in court. Even if you just take an extract from the ADR's or a Vic Roads PDF along with you and represent yourself, You will still win. So sign the back of the fine and send it in now. Don't let superman T.M.U push you around.

They can be busy... It's good overtaking practise!

No, as long as your turbo is considered by us as a 'stadard equivilent', and on our list...(which isn't finished) This is only theory at this stage... You will be allowed to do both fuel pump and injectors if your turbo is on the standard equivilent list. It's when you goto say 25/30's that your only allowed one of either fuel pump or injectors. Plus you still need to run street tyres Yeah so stock equivilent turbo is not a mod, injectors will be one mod and you are also allowed to do fuel pump. But if you goto bigger turbo's then you goto modified. Yes you can put any turbo on a GTST that you would like and do either fuel pump or injectors. With street tyres on this is still standard class. Or you can highflow the GTST turbo and run both injectors and fuel pump. On a GTST a highflow turbo is a free mod. Every other turbo is considered an upgrade at this stage. If more clarity is needed let me know.

Never speaking to any of you again...
