  1. I like pink! That is all....
  2. Pilot Cups are slow... Plus they are on Ferni's car ATM, because I have to re-spray his rims because we failed to look after them for him.
  3. If you buy the tyres... I'll put on the 4WD drift extravagansa. That's how broke I am right now. I had to eat baken beans the last two nights. The rest of the office loves that new fruity aroma surounding my desk thou!
  4. Or let Snowy spin it around on the main straight in front of everyone. That should help.
  5. Location: Melbourne Price: $900 Standard GTR Turbo's from an R33 GTR. No shaft play at all. No damage on any blades. Oil changed every 2000k since I have owned the car. Coolent also changed regularly. No internal carbon build up or gunk inside the galleries. Turbo's are clean and have no leaks. Ran reliable boost all day every day while on the car. Never ran more than 0.95bar. Car has done 86,000k, for the first 38,000k it ran stock boost at 0.6bar.
  6. Yeah i'm working on it. Problem is Dutton sent me broke, and I don't think I will get another track day out of the de-laminated pile of rubber I have left.
  7. Bris, the Dutton media (Probably Southo) will send every team a copy on CD of all pics taken of our own cars. As well as a copy of the DVD.
  8. Is that because all NSW GTR's are all lag monsters?
  9. Check this out. Last event of the Dutton VIC '06 - Sandown Raceway Carpark Got most of our runs.
  10. I still maintain that I was cool about the whole situation. Everyone else at the event had stopped in silence, but I had a little grin. Until later when Snowy told me how close he actually got to the wall. I was OK thou, I guess it's because I have seen people do that 'trick' before, and I know there is a bit of room to play with. Still... DON'T DO IT AGAIN.
  11. He he - state of origin... funny Can any of you guys actually drive? Put your hand up if your faster than Troy!
  12. lol. Probably not. I guess anything is possible. But yeah the point is we don't know their frame of mind.
  13. Yeah I know. Here is the replay. The spin kings. Should have got a tool award for this!
  14. Yup, it takes skill to pull a gutsy 180 at 100km/h for the sole purpose of entertaining the croud. Your my hero!
  15. We spoke to the driver at Dutton VIC, and as he is a motorsport enthusiast he was more interested in things like DECA, rather than Autosalon. But we shall let him make up his own mind.
  16. I would also like to raise another point. You being discussted with this drivers behavoir is warranted, but who said anything about this person being an SAU member or even a skylinesaustralia.com forum user? There are plenty of d1cks out there in Skylines I will admitt. But the majority of us are decent human beings. If you base your opionios of the whole club on one drivers actions, then I think you are a little shallow. But I do disagree with this person failing to stop. On the other hand he/she may have been in shock, or may have not been able to deal with the sight of blood etc. Unfortunatly we don't know his/her circumstances or frame of mind.
  17. Also I spoke to my RWC guy around the corner about a month ago about this, as he is on the PAIRC committee and he thinks that the entries might be full. But I guess if your guys can get it together then a simple phone call will confirm or deny.
  18. Coooool.. I want a shot! Yup that's Adam. I can see his handbag.
  19. I need one this weekend too. Gemini is slightly low on compression. I have no idea why!
  20. I must admit, i've thought about setting up a 32GTR for club dirt rally. I've always wondered why no one has seems to have done this before, and I assume it's the size and weight of the car. Anyone know any GTR rally teams?
  21. Hey Datsun's are cool. But I know what you mean Roy, 300k is a bit much for a nissan. Thanks to all the SAU peeps who came down and supported us. Was great to see so many faces and then try to put on a show for you all. That last motorkhana was cool. (above video) As soon as I finished I just wanted to go right back to the start and do it again. Highlight for me was taking out first in four events. Was a little unexpected, but I guess all the pushing 10/10ths in the first two days at least got us something respectful.
  22. I agree get out there and show some support in nunbers. Leave any club rivalry or opions of other clubs/ cars at home, and celebrate the legend that was.... I'll also be at essendon airport sun morning and sandown on Sun arvo, and will bring home the dutton 1st place to show my respect.
  23. My money is on first event. Brum brum brum "3 - 2 - 1" - Whhhhaaaaaa - "Go" - BANG!!
  24. hmm I dunno if i'd go machineing it, unless you can confirm your crank is actually bigger than stock. Plus it will be under heat cycles because of the fact it is a friction surface item. Let's say you take a bit out of it, then it will fit on nicely while cold. But the flywheel expands at a different heat rate to the crank... I dunno perhaps then it may not run 100% true. Just chuck it on the Bar-by and cook yourself up a flywheel with sauce, slide it on and bolt it up. I'd go for tight fit anyday!! (no sexual inuendo intended of course)
  25. Bah.. Gemini's can do anything. I'll show you. But yeah cool vid. I wanna know how many gems the crazy japs wrote off while making the ad??
