It's prferable that you send in an entry form before Tue 24th, as we will be compiling running orderes on Wed 25th, and then after this we wont be checking the fax machine. Yep CAMS can be done on the day, if you havn't held a CAMS licence within the last year.

On another note the SAU motorsport committee will be keeping a close eye on the weather leading up to this event. If the forcast is for 40+ degrees we will be looking to postpone / cancell this event. It's just too much for us to ask officials to stand out in that heat for even a couple of hours and most cars wont appreciate it either. Hopefully the forcast is for a warm day, but not as extreme as last weekend.

Forget about just coming down for a look. As soon as you see the skidpan you'll wish you had entered. This is grass roots motorsport. You can go as slow or as fast as you like and it's all for fun. Just put in an entry form. Passengers are allowed all day, but must sign a passenger disclaimer form, and also must wear a helmet.

Thanks Kel. I thought I may not have been 100% correct on the competition permit situation. Just for clarification - Unique Cars are not affliated with this event. They just ran the advertising and are not responsible for the content.

Since the police weren't too interested in talking to me i've gone here: http://www.scamwatch.gov.au and lodged an online "report a scam" and filled out a heap of information. This site is run by ACCC - Australian Competition & Consumer Commission. I went to this site thinking that another avenue to explore would be the lack of a permit number for this competition. I assume that it is the ACCC who issues these competition numbers that you always see on the bottom of TV ads and hear on radio ads etc where prize money is offered. This is to ensure it's a genuine competition. I believe it may be illegal to run a competition with prize money, without these permit number(s). Permit numbers are issued on a per state basis, therefore he would need a number for each state. (Not sure if i'm 100% correct here.) Anyway I just tried to ring Jason's numbers to ask if he has a competition number, but no answer on either numbers.

I also contacted Lamborghini (previous employment) for a character reference for Jason. It wasn't positive and they weren't surprised to hear that he may be involved in a scam. Seems he was terminated as a result of some other under the table deals. (not my words) Is Jason still reading here? I'd be interested to hear you prove us all wrong. I'm an objective person. There is always two sides to a story. Perhaps you could get one of your aliases to back you up.

I attempted to contact the fraud squad and forward them the information I had collected. But I wasn't a victim, so they didn't want to talk to me as no crime against myself had been committed. For reference if you have submitted money to Jason Sinai the person to contact is: NSW Fraud Group Detective Sergent Winter (02) 9265 6507 Please note he is very hard to get a hold of. If anyone is genuinely going to contact NSW fraud because they are a victim, please get in touch with me as I have collected a couple of pages of info that may help.

I also have many doubts about this being a genuine event. I can confirm what Belsil80 says is true re: IP Addresses of Jason's (and friends) posts. This type of backup from new users with zero posts has also happened on other forums: www.carandimage.com/forums Tag Huer are not on board as a sponsor. Revolution are not on board as a sponsor, however Jason has contacted them about custom race suits. But an order hasn't been placed. Fuel TV know nothing about this evet. Draw your own conclusions.
