  1. Is your car on the road Shiv?
  2. Yeah I thought you weren't coming ash. But i'll cya there.
  3. ABuSD - When is a good night to come along? Can you give us a rough price and what we can expect to get for that price. If you work their then I dont see why we should start organising the next one.
  4. I might have some cheaper items coming in from Thailand soon.
  5. Dont tell me you banged it up Roy...
  6. I'll be happy to put my car in. It's looking more show than go at the moment. Is this meeting still on?
  7. $615 is a good price for these units. 40mm is what Racepace Ben uses on his car with no problems. I think that this group buy will be cheaper than Race Radiators, as their 40mm core goes for like $650 retail. When I spoke to PWR the best price I got was 40mm $770 and 57mm $850
  8. I used a small file to make my spray thingy holes bigger. Didn't take too long. Just dont slip! Mine took a lot to fit. Bonnet was shorter that the original and slightly different shape. Had to pull the guards in tighter at the front.
  9. I dont want to discourage anyones group buy, but in the interest of saving SAU people money. I would suggest you give Race Radiators in Dandenong, VIC a call before getting a PWR unit. I just installed mine and they did an awesome job. Race Radiator 59 Bennet St Dandenong VIC 3175 ph: (03) 9793 2798 Tell Rob (Owner) Chris with the White 33GTR sent you.
  10. I've had a major set back with my car. As some of you know I ordered a 400r Copy, which was actually for a GTST. I sent it back to NSW and got a Jun Style bar sent back. I went to fit it last night and the mould is just crap. It's bowed in the middle and leaves a 15mm gap between the headlights and the bar, no matter how hard I push it up. I'm calling the head scutineer now to see if I can run on Saturday without a front bar.
  11. If people have some little things to do to their cars that they cant get done till Friday night, like fire extinguishers. Just bring everything you need down with you. Their will be plenty of hands and plenty of tools to use.
  12. Ok guys is everyone happy to meet at the Bunnings in Cranbourne, corner South Gipsland Hwy and Thompsons Road at 8pm (Melways Ref 129 H9)? I suggest we aim for meet up at 8pm leave by 8:30pm.
  13. Even thou Andrew will pull away from me on the straight stuff. I plan on keeping him honest with my measly 230kw. Only time will tell.
  14. Ok have started an accomadation thread since it looks like it may become a logistical nightmare if we leave it too late. If your planning to stay on Phillip Island between 11th - 14th post your details here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...802#post1230802
  15. Phillip Island - March 12 - WRX Club Round 2. Cruise down thread - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=65612 Track day thread - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...74&page=1&pp=25 This track day is approaching fast (2 weeks to go) and we need to know how many people want accomodation. This is a long weekend and finding accomodation may get difficult if we leave it too late. We need to know all the drivers and their partners and we need to know if anyone from the day cruise will want to stay on the Saturday night also. I think their are a few friends of driver coming down too. Most of the drivers will be coming down friday night and a few may even stay till Monday. So I need to know who you are and how long you plan to stay and I need to know now! So far we have two houses booked (500m apart) at Woolami. I am organising one house and Roy is organising the other. My House - 4 Rooms (3 Double beds, 3 single beds) $20 each for weekend Roy's House - 3 Rooms (Sleeps 8-10) $15pp per night People requiring accomdation so far: Scotsman +1 (Min) Fri - Mon House1 Roy Fri - Mon House2 Bec Fri - Mon House1 Chrisman +1 (Nat) Fri - House1 Snowman +1 Fri - Snow-friend +1 SkylineGeoff Emre ant95GTR +1 (Mrs.) Fri - Mon West Nigle +1 That's 17ppl
  16. I use RB74 front and comp9 rears. DBA5000 front rotors and Motul5.1 blead after each event, all this with the help of the braided lines and sicky tyres means that I can pull up pretty good all day long. I found that the RB74's can still be cooked at Sandown thou and are only good in the first 50% of the pad. After consistent hard braking the pad surface starts to crumble and the sides can break off. So I guess this means I need a higher temp pad. But at least my rotors should last for a while. Going to a more race orientated pad will mean that I will have to replace my rotors more often.
  17. Yeah we only drive on the Saturday. But I think most of us will stay down there for two nights (fri + sat) since it's a long weekend and all. We can have a few beers afterwards and watch the video and Troy can talk it up. Most of us will head down friday night together. We can organise a time and a meet point closer to the day.
  18. Roy is right. You wont start to make improvments to you times at PI on your first day out with little tweaks to your car. PI is a fast circuit that takes getting used to and big balls. (Hence the team wang logo.) Then you can start playing with setups. It took us two full days in a row to get used to the track and to force yourself to break late at the 100m mark going into turn one sitting on 190-200km/h. That's why we have a few beers the night before.
  19. Nah it's quite broken. With a small section ripped in four places. I might actually be able to try that thou. Although it's not round is shape, so wont get a good clamp onto it.
  20. Hi guys, Anyone know where I can pickup a GTR Blow off Valve return pipe for either 32 or 33 (Should be the same) Mine is damaged.
  21. ICE must have modified the BOV somehow. Because Ben @ Racepace says they stay open at idle.
  22. Yeah this was a good plan Roy as I think a few of my mates, min, and david+woman are heading down too. So Davids place will be 1/2 full already. Did you book it for the whole weekend?
  23. I'd contact Troy. He wont steer you wrong. Also most CF bonnets will be more out of shape than the one you got now most likely. As are my experiences anyway.
