  1. Come on guys need at least one more person to make the group buy happen. I dont want to hold onto these guys hard earned dollars for much longer. Can people please respond to my PM's. All I need is a yes or no.
  2. Also the first 15 people will get this price. If we need more than 15 beds, then additional rooms will need to be booked, but the price will be slightly more for the night. I think it was like $35- 40.
  3. For the accomodation I have placed my credit card down as the deposit to hold 3x 5 Person appartments. It works out at $30 Per Person. Rather than stufing around when we get up there, I might get people to Direct Deposit $30 into my account. This will save us scrounging around for peoples loose change and frantically swapping notes to get the $30 each right, with 15 people standing in the office. So people can either DD to my account and i'll chuck it all on credit, or make sure you have $30 cash to hand out to me and I can just walk straight in their and get it sorted. This will mean we can get on with the beer and pool. 35 degrees is forecast for Saturday. Here is my account details: 063245 00688564 - Mr Christopher R Thomson Please use your forum name as a description if using Netbanking, and PM me once you sent the money. If paying for two or three please indicate. Cheers Chris. 0418390299
  4. Did anyone confirm that these can fit a GTR?
  5. Has anyone else tried to install one of these into an R33 GTR. I have followed the instructions exactly, but I'm convinced this product doesn't suit the car. The shifter sits much higher than the standard one and the shortness of the shift doesn't seem to have changed much. Also the shifter is loose and moves all around. Blacknite - Can you definatly confirm that this kit did support the R33 GTR box aswell? and that this is what I received. Are they actually a different kit for a GTR?
  6. Also we will make the meeting point for people travelling up on the Saturday for the Second BP (Cambelfield) on the Hume Hwy, at 12:30pm leaving at 1:00pm sharp (that means no later)
  7. Anyone else up for an oil cooler? Looks like we may only have three people confirmed out of the eight poeple who said they wanted one.
  8. Toby has advised that all oil coolers purchased from Meridian are brand new. The one that Trust 33 received had been painted twice in the factory for some reason. In fact the one I got which works fine on my car was exactly the same.
  9. I think grip and width of rim/ tyre combination might be the area to concertrate on more than weight of rims. I think that the difference in weight would only be marginal. But I could be wrong.
  10. They will be 18x10 I assume as the R33 GTR ones are 17x10
  11. Got PM. Responded. Trust R33 - All the oil coolers I have seen come from Meridian so far have been brand new in a sealed box with plastic end caps on the cooler. I would imagine that Meridian dont sell anything reconditioned as they are a race shop (similar to revolution racegear), and not an importer, or car wrecker. But if you can PM me or email me the details I can make an inquiry for you. They are good blokes and i'm sure they would be happy to respond to any questions you may have.
  12. Damn... My posts keep disappearing from this thread. Update: I have two payments. RS73 and LTSJayce Toby @ Meridian has been very busy and will get some quotes to me tomorrow for Nightcrawler Nozilla and GTShortie are you still interested in this group buy? Looks like three people have pulled out and we may need one more for this round to go ahead.
  13. Yeah I took my car for a test run and I'm happy to say that it's a completly different car. There is a huge difference between a stock GTR and one with a few dollars spent in the right place. Brakes and suspension first. More power later.
  14. Mine are in along with my DBA 5000's. Was pretty easy to do. I recommend poeple buy a 10mm pipe spanner. they are worth the money
  15. We can always do more. Just as long as we get the five people.
  16. I got mine too. Went all the way down to drysdale (Geelong) to pick them up, but the Maltech boys were in Melb. that day. So I got them to ship em to me.
  17. It has to be within crawling distance.
  18. No, Not too late yet. Prices have all stayed the same as in the 1st post. Credit Card can be arranged. Meridian have done a few of these for SAU people, but they do them all the time on a large variety of cars. Installs can be arranged after the group buy has gone thorugh. But please go through here for the group buy price 1st. Each install will vary as diff model lines have diff amount of space in front bars. Install is based on man hours to get the job done. Meridian have looked after us when installs have been difficult, by not charging us the full amount of hours spent on the install. This round of oil coolers will be closed by the end of next week 10/12/04 Please PM me with the following details: 1. Your mobile number (In case we need to ask you anything) 2. Your prefered method of payment 3. Your intended place of install (behind radiator, front bar - drivers - passengers) 4. Your shipping address 5. Your vehicle type 6. any other information you think may be relevent. I will reply with a price and information on how to make payment.
  19. Shouldn't be a problem mate. I'll get all the details off to Toby @ Meridian tomorrow. He can order what he doesn't have overnight and can start shipping early next week.
  20. Bec has done some fine research and found that accomodation is limited in both Wangaratta and Benella. Turns out the only place with some decent room left and a decent price is the same place we stayed last time. We are going to take the two appatments and some rooms. It will work out about $40 each. I have put my credit card down as a deposit. I might get people to direct deposit my account to confirm a spot. This place is a nice neat place with all amenities, a pool, barbaque and off street parking. Bec will post more tomorrow. Thanks Bec for putting in the time here!!
  21. Thanks guys I have some of your PM's. I'm flat out at work today and will only be able to respond after five. Thanks for your patience. If you havn't PM'd me yet please do.
  22. You Fly-Boys crack me up!
  23. Bec has a contact from work for the place we stayed last time and was thinking we might get a great price through them for those appartments. She was going to give them a call tomorrow (2/12). Just let us know as soon as you can Rianto. I will hopefully verbally confirm somewhere by end of the week. So if you could let us know on Monday, that would be great. Cheers Chris.
  24. Scott (Chrisman) and Chris (Me - Scotsman) want to start looking at prices for accomodation people so please register your interest here for booking numbers: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=56574
  25. I was thinking that we should arrange an earlyish cruize up to Wang. Have a SE Megamart meet then a Meet at Hume hwy (Ford or Maccas) Maybe about 12-1pm Cruize up and settle in at our accomdation, get some grub early and hit the can. That way we can be in bed by 12 and getting up at 7ish wont be as big a problem. Roy can stay up all night dribbling crap to the passengers that come along.
