  1. Are these the ones that will work with the TEIN EDFC? or is that the TEIN flex? pics to [email protected]
  2. What kind of oil cooler did you have? What brand/ size is your improved radiator? Thanks for the heads up, would have thought the oil temps were causing most of the high heat since the oil usually climbs much higher on my GTR around the track than the water temp ever does.
  3. Dude get an oil cooler asap. The oil out of the turbo's and back into the block are the reason for the high oil and water temps. An oil cooler will bring both temps down. The oil temp will stay below 100 even if you fang at 160 all day.
  4. Shouldn't there be more fittings and lines in the kit? Where is the ideal spot to mount this cooler? Is it designed for behind radiator or left front bar?
  5. Yep I can do that. Give me a couple of days to find one. Got a lot on at the moment
  6. Yep, same as Snowman and I think Geoff. (and others) It's so easy to do, just get it done and get out there. Membership form found here: http://www.ndsoc.com.au/site/files/membership.pdf After that comes back get cams here: http://www.cams.com.au/downloads/competito...2004/Level2.pdf Suggest not posting cheque and form to NDSOC and waiting until they come back, cause that took 5 weeks for mine to happen. I'm sure if you make a few calls you can get it done quicker. Assuming your intending of doing PI event. CAMS application can be faxed to them and done on the same day if you ask nicely and have a credit card.
  7. I'll be there pending oil cooler install, pads and non shite brake fluid. Normally this would all be easy in 4 weeks if someone increased my credit limit!
  8. Yep thats the plan. Have to wait and see just how good they come up.
  9. I think I will be getting these back late Saturday or Sunday Morning form the metal polisher. I will PM then to confirm. If you like you can PM me your mobile number and I will give you a call when I have them back.
  10. The rears are an even depper dish.
  11. Got some pics last night. Pics added to original post. Centre caps are also included with this sale (4 of) and can do a pic of them also. Will post more pics when I have all four wheels back.
  12. Sorry guys was off the air for couple of days. I will get some pics to you as soon as I can. I have been getting the rims polished, because I believe some of the curbing can be repaired. Please check back soon.
  13. HICAS Light is still on and lit bright and shiny for me to see every time I start the car until I turn it off.
  14. Update. If anyone ever gets the Airbag and ABS lights coming on and their battery is slowly looking chage and releasing acid into the air giving a choking smell from the boot. You might just have the same prblem as I did. Hook up a volt meter to your battery and you will see that the battery is being overcharged when these lights come on. Hence you have a faulty voltage regulator and need to get your altinator reconditioned. Mine cost $200 for fully reco.

  16. I have a set of WORK REZAXII rims. They came on my GTR when I bought it, but are not suited to a GTR because they are 18x10 rears and 18x9 fronts. The offset is +48 to 50 mm for all. They are 5 stud pattern (5x114.3) and will fit a GTST. Tyres are Bridgestone Potenza's, but are in not in road worthy condition. They can be rolled on but wouldn't recommend daily driving. These rims have just been metal polished Asking $1300. I live in Ferntree Gully, VIC.
  17. I have about 15min of footage. Mostly my car from the sunday MSCA day. Only 5mins from the Friday open day.
  18. "does someone have the equipment to convert tape to raw data and edit and burn onto a DVD?" Yeah I can do this.
  19. "The faster you are going the less time there is to concentrate on actually learning to drive." I agree totally with this. I learned more about the track in two slow laps in the rain than the whole 200k I did in the dry at full pace. Snowman / Roy - If we were to get anything going with the Dutton we would need to make moves (decisions) in that direction very quickly. Money to spend on the car is my problem and a small sponsor would help. I can come up with entrace fee, but would like to spend more on car to become competitive with the R34 and others. But at the end of the day I would be there for sure.
  20. WRX club record is a 1:34.2
  21. Thats amazing... I felt like I was going almost as fast as I could. I wanna go back now and have another crack at it.
  22. Ferni - I ended up getting a 1:41.55 in my last session of the day. Which felt pretty fast from the inside of the car.
  23. Go Team Wang !! As we came into Wangaratta there was a sign on the side of the road with "Wang Races" As soon as I saw it and almost drove off the road in tears of laughter I was ready to whip out my wang for some racing! Adz you would of had a ball... and your tyres seemed to grip the track at Deca pretty good compared to my 18" potenza's. So maybee just use those. Because everyone now knows that i'm broke! Note: With some of the pricing I got the was no diff between an 18" and a 17" in a new semi comp. If anything it was only $10 per corner.
  24. Had a great weekend guys. thanks to all.. After the track fully dried they put me at the back of the pack so my third session was a waste. I then asked if I could be put out in front since my times were at least a second in front of the others in group G. So fourth session I did a 1:41.55 Brakes. Oil temp and crappy shocks are still issues to be addressed.
  25. Also I might be bringing a camera / photo person (So bring you cameras) Snowman can this be worked into the accomodation? Might have to give you a call later on tonight anyway
