Ok got a proposed road plan.... I will be a FTG Maccas at 7:00 if anyone wants to meet there? (Burwood Hwy FTG) Let me know first as I will not go if anyone doesn't need this. Otherwise I suggest BP on the way out of Lillydale at 7:30. (On the Left, before hill out of Lilydale) From there we go Melba Hwy thru Yarra Glen and Yea. At this point we can go left and head for Seymoue and the Hume (Adds 15min to trip)(Will only go this way if we need to pick up troy roy boy or if the roads are icy) or we go right onto the Maroondah Hwy towards Mansfield and hang a left onto the Midland Hwy after Bonnie Doon and that takes us to Benalla. Any comments / suggestions. Are we all happy with this?

I will keep these in mind for next time thou, as I would have gone for this if I had more time. Yeah tell me about it... I've been trying to get something going for about two months thou. Firstly the budget simply doesn't stretch to $520 a tyre. Everywhere I rang for the Toyo's said 500 - 520. The Bridgestone RE55 are not going to be in for at least another fortnight. (Have been calling the guy for months to keep checkin') The Falken's are in shortage due to a fire in Japan or some shit like that. No one's got any of them!! You got any other suggestions for me?

Snowman you rock.... I'm down for carving up the slopes. What is the deal with the Friday track day. Do we need to register somewhere first or is it pay on the day? I have a friend who will be coming along with his TX3 turbo also.

Ok I rang stuckey tyres and they say they have a 255/40 17" in R1R's. The Toyo web site must be old. The price was $519 each! where did you get yours from? Cause if I could get $350 for 255/40 17" I would buy them now.

Any ideas why Toyo's australiab web site says they are only avaliable in a 215/45 17" or a 205/50 16" ? Are you sure you got a 255 in a R1R and not the RA1? I rang a toyo dealer and they say only RA1's are in 255/40 17" Comments?

Got these rims when I bought my GTR, however they are not suited to GTR. They are 18x8 at the front and 18x9 at the rear. I was wondering if anyone knew what these rims are? Manufacturer.... Model.... Anything?

I'm paid up for the Sunday. Do we need to pay another $100 for the Friday, if we are already confirmed on the sunday?

Hi All, It's great to hear that the day was enjoyed by all. I myself think that was the most fun I have ever had in a car and will definately be there next year to defend the crown. The GTR clutch seems to still be in ok condition, although I imagine there isn't much left on it. Their is certainly an electrical problem with my GTR as the headlights were diming in and out on the drive home. That smell must be airborn battery acid particles. Will have to get it checked out.

Also make sure your rear window is very clean. Even a little bit of hair jell stuck to it (from your taller friends) will make the suction cap slip.

Yeah I saw this car too on my way into the city this morning. Looked like a pretty bad rear ender.

Hey Andrew, I can let you use my Gemini if you like.. It's registered. 2 Litre, cam, head work exhust, RPM clutch lowered, 17" rims. No LSD, but I could swap the diff to a locked one if you wanna give me a hand. Goes ok, but nothing compared to the line. We might even swap on the day. Let me know ASAP.

Finally got my receipt back after 4 weeks. I was getting worried their for a second. Al, I Was wondering if their would be time to change rear tyres between events. For example I would like to put crap tyres on for the skidpan and good semi comps for the circuit etc. Let me know.. I should have a small pit crew to help.
