  1. OK we get it - You don't like the graphics
  2. i see people usually using 0 guage or thicker, i've already purchased 5+ metres of 2 guage for my current car but wont be using it anymore. so my question is can i use it on a non turbo R32?
  3. 1974 blue Fiat 124 bought from a wrecker yard, but was beauttful condition and ran bought it without my parent's even knowing , LOL
  4. I've got some questions that i can't find the answer to in any of threads i've gone through in this section, basically - 1 - does the head Bolt straight on? ( yes dumb question but i can't find it anywhere) 2 - would the RB30 bolt straight into an r32? 3 - Will i be able to use the R32 loom without modifying it too much? 4 - Does the R32 gearbox bolt straight up? 5 - can i use the RB20 or 25 alternator? If so, will it need to be re-wound? 6 - how much more power/torque would it make than an RB25 with same mods? estimation of course 7 - what timing belt would i use? Thanks to anyone that can help
  5. i'm researching RB30/25 engine combo's in the RB30 section on here but so far haven't read whether the head bolt's straight to the Block without drama's and whether RB30 block bolts straight into R32. i'm assuming RB20/25 sump will need to used or something but i don't even know if that will even fit nor if its even needed. i'm just gonna buy the car first then worry about engine mods later
  6. I know some mechanics but don't know if they're able to do this, would you know any details of whats involved? PM me if you want instead for law reason's
  7. I've read on forum's and magazines of police tail gating people to make them speed to f*** them over for speeding and just tonight i think that what happend to a mate. He's driving and this unmarked police car was behind us basically touching our bumper anyway this goes on for around 2 min's my mate's just screaming at them to over take(he's a bit of an angry c**t. he pull's over and the car behind us pass's us (screamed a few thing's but not sure if they heard) anyway and as the car passed us, there were 2 cop's just starring at us giving us the biggest greasies. LOL, i couldn't believe it WTF - This is actually common
  8. If i'm to buy a toyota of that Era it would either be an AE86 or Celica TA22. But then i may aswell keep the Fiat which isn't a bad idea anyway. RB30 bottom end in a r32 would be fantastic but would require a Mod plate so there goes that Idea - a rear mount a turbo is easier to hide than the block number So basically it comes down to an R32 GTS25 - Too bad all the ones i've found are Auto
  9. wasn't thinking about that stuff - All i thought about was trying to get away with an illegal car. guess I'm after a GTS25 then, there's one for sale in my state ATM too
  10. yeah makes sense, sounds like a good idea . expensive to modify + FWD - but top motor's none-the-less that go very hard
  11. i was thinking that if the car's registered in my dads name and insured in his name with me as second driver i would be alright but thats a risk i don't want to take. theres a R32 with an RB25DE for sale right now which is is obviously a very sensible idea which I'm considering Plus if i were to do internal Mods theres no way for police to check, right?
  12. screw it, I'll take the risk and drive a turbo 32/33, when i get pulled over I'll say its my dad's car hopefully the cop is nice bloke, otherwise the worst thing that can happen to me according to vicroads is 3 demerit points and a fine. and then buy another Fiat 124
  13. i've already got a job LOL
  14. yeah fair enough but thats easier said than done for someone in my position. i would rather get the job done , route all the piping close to the chassis railing and have all in matte black to make it look somewhat stock. otherwise just drive it stock turbo, keep it a sleeper and if i get caught sell up and buy something legal.
  15. That's my main concern. I got the idea from an american forum that where guy's do it alot to their corvettes, Monaro's etc And yes, I will be getting my P's soon and as everybody knows Vic Roads seem to think that it's HP that kill's and not speed itself. If i had my full licence i wouldn't waste my time with such a job when the space is right there in the bay. Car won't be low so hopefully copper's won't check ride height + Turbo will be sitting through the floor pan and in a box that's painted black so shouldn't be *too* noticable
  16. Either R32 or R33 - I haven't bought anything yet. as for me trying to do something illegal; Police patrol car forum's
  17. sorry about not putting enough info. I want to use either the standard turbo or upgrade to something a little bigger and hiflow. I want the turbo under the driver's seat as that will have the most room if i cut out a massive square hole under the drivers seat and weld in a box as high/deep as i can fit. I will be making another box to cover the turbo with to prevent all the dirt and anything else that on the road from getting to the turbo and also a rail welded to the body or chassis to prevent the turbo from coming in contact with the road. The box will have pipe's running through it for air filter, intercooler, exhaust header pipe, oil drain line, wastegate pipe.
  18. hey i'm new to this site and loving it now i've got some question's reguarding placing a turbo under the car. I know that it can be done but i want to know how the car will feel. My thoughts say it'll laggy as a MOFO But i've done a lot of searching and some people say it can be responsive but i found nothing on skyline motor's. What are everyones thoughts?
