Try Spice - the small place across the road from here. I think In the Mood is a bit "Thai by numbers"; Spice is good but not great (well compared to some of the places I like - Thai Potong & Spice I Am; I really like the shitty Surry Hills one if you can put up with the noise and don't want the ambiance of the others) Place I LOVE in Parramatta is Temasek - best Nasi Goreng I've tasted anywhere in the world

Transmission Lubricants
Gunnar_11 replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I have a bottle of Neo 75w90 and am thinking of putting it in box and riffs of my R33 GTST; 260kw and 210,000km. Anyone use this in nissans before? I use this in my Subaru and love the oil. Also used redline but I prefer Neo. Just want to know is this a good oil weight or should I go 80w90? It's 4L for the gearbox and 1L for the diff right? -
Make and Model: Subaru Impreza WRX Model Year: MY06 - 2006 built & complied Registration: BU60UD (previous was JJT111) Car Condition: Road Worthy/ Registered Location: Sydney, NSW Price: $23,000 ono (No swaps) Contact details: 0412635331 So my 2006 crystal grey Subaru WRX is up for sale. I've owned this car since August 2006 when I bought it brand new. It currently has done 76,425 kilometres. I'm a meticulous owner and the car has never been modified. However I have put on a 22mm adjustable Whiteline rear sway bar but still have the OEM bar that I will provide with the sale. I have also installed an Alpine head unit with iPod connectivity. The current brake setup is Brembo sport rotors with Ferrodo DS2500 pads I have paperwork & receipts for everything I have done on this car. Its been regularly serviced by Subaru (with interim oil & filter changes done at a local mechanic). The car has always been garaged and has never been in an accident. It's also a non-smokers car. A few pieces of information: Tyres have approximately 75% tread. Timing belt replaced in January 2013 at roughly 74,000 kilometres (done because of timing belt age). Registration valid till 28 August 2013 Car used to be registered as JJT111 (I am keeping the plates so that?s why I changed the registration). This is also why some photos have JJT111 plates. Reason for Sale - want something with a bit more space If you're interested either reply on here; PM or call me Inspections are welcome and you will not be disappointed with its condition. Here are the pics:

Car has 207K kms on it Brant is an immobilizer system; it's the same system used in WRX's.

Thanks for the replies guys - that's the problem it's intermittent and usually after it's been taken aprat and clened and resoldered it works fine - for about 2 days. It has improved since it's gone to the auto electrician but still not fixed.

I've got an intermittent starting issue with the car - when I go to it turn over I get nothing. Literally nothing, not even cranking over. What I mean by "nothing" it's the same response you get when you try to start an automatic in gear. After a bit of removing and turning the key it it will start. The fuel pump primes and the lights come on as normal but it just doesn't want to turn over. I have a Brant immobilizer (which is terrible on Subarus) on the car and I don't know if it is this or if it's something else. It's been to an Auto Electrician a few times but no luck fixing it (he's re-soldered the Brant and this has helped it but hasn't fixed it). Just wondering if any of you have had a similar issue? Any help would be great.

Just wondering if any of you know what the hot and cold resistance value of the temperature switch is (how many ohms???). I did a search but couldn't find anything. It's for a R33 GTS-T Thanks in advance

Ok so the coil packs and spark plugs were replaced last night; it's helped the problem but not fixed it, still doing it but it's doing it over less RPM. Going off the Apexi hand controller the AFM's seem ok. Anyone have ideas on what else to check???

JJR Coil Packs Vs Oem Vs Splitfire Vs Other
Gunnar_11 replied to 4drftn's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I managed to get my hands on OEM coils really cheap so have just bought a new set of these. Still to go on the car. From what I've read on here these are the best coils; it's just that the others are expensive. This correct? -

LOL - not to mention the fact he'd also be a contraceptive on wheels
-
They look kinda sad and really lame when you get out of a Skyline wearing it
-
If you really want a Merc get a well maintained w124 - awesome car that really does go on forever. Only problem is they are not cheap to fix when things do go on them
-
I'd be looking at Type R Honda's

Stay well away from the Mercs of the late 90's to about 2005-06. Build quality on them is pretty patchy. The older ones (w124, w140, etc) are great but the first lot of the w200 series (across the board) are what caused Merc to have many unhappy customers. The current ones are back to being good (but still not as good as the over engineered Mercs of old)

Wow - is that all they are?
