Go the 31's - more suited for street
The 36's are not a dedicated semi slick - the tread pattern is that of a semi slick but the tyre compound is not as soft a a semi slick
OK thanks - I'm already entered through the wrx club but good to know I can get mates with CAMS licences in there. The club was not 100% sure if it had been opened to everyone.
Cracking after track work in a very common problem for the 4000's. I know of too many who have cracked them after a track day and would not recommend them for track work.
You'll be surprised by the price of the Brembo Sport rotors. They were only $50 or so more than the 4000's.
I've used the Brembo Sport and RDA's for road and track work; both are good.
Just wondering if anyone here knows how German Maestro stacks up?
I'm looking at upgrading my speakers and am not after anything special. I'm after a cheap upgrade for the fronts and my budget is at most $250 (I can get these for $200).
I'm looking at how the German Maestro's are, specifically the 6.5 inch Alpha series.
PS It's going into an S1 R33 gts-t and yes I'm aware they're made my the old MB Quart mob but the Alpha series are the Chinese made ones.
Don't be a dick - do it properly and get new springs. By cutting your springs you are taking out structural rigidity and this has disaster written all over it.
