  1. Thanks for your help mate, one last question, wheres the adjusting screw?? This is the bov below
  2. its in the exact same location as where the stock bov was, same vacuum line aswell. if i rev it and push the valve with my finger, its very loud, what i was expecting it to do normally. I took it apart today, moved the spring around and i am able to push it in now. But its as if the second stage is just way to weak to open properly.
  3. Is the fact im only running 9 psi going to make a difference?? The little pink pin slightly opens, but the rest of seal barely moves, the stock bov is louder than this one
  4. I put in a cooling pro return flow cooler about 2 months ago. Its a 600x240x75 (2.5inch) i have had no problems with this, its a tube and fin core. Being return flow mate, its very simple as is just connects to the standard plumbing from the smic, if your wanting to do it yourself, you cant go wrong with this. Ive been told its capable of around 280rwkw. It took us about 3 and a half hours to fit and i cut about 10mm off the front bar, thats it!
  5. How do you loosen it?? I have taken the main cover off, it spins but doesnt seem to get any looser??
  6. I have replaced the stock bov i had on there, blocked off the recirc pipe, connnected the vacuum line back into it, and just bolted it straight on to the flange.
  7. Hey guys, i recieved my hks ssqv bov today, put it on, and its causing a shitload of chatter. I dont get it, its a full atmospheric valve, why is it doing this? I cant open the valve manually all the time, it will go from being able to be pushed open by fingers, to being "stuck" and feels like its hitting something???? Any help????
  8. I beleive he wanted to see what it would sound like, wasnt going to drive with it like it tho.
  9. Thanks for the replies guys, yeah i meant block the pipe and not the bov. Just wanted to know as a mate asked me but was not 100percent certain. Thanks again.
  10. Hy guys, i have an r34 gtt with stock bov, which is plumback. if i was to disconect the recirc pipe off it, and block it off, therefore venting it to atmo, is that what it would be?? An atmospheric bov?? Can it do damage this way?? Cheers guys.
  11. Hey guys, thanks for the replies. i have no idea if its the same as a 32 or 33 mate, im looking at the "scarles" adaptor, looks pretty good and corect lol. Does this need welding to the bov or how do they come together??
  12. Hey guys, ive managed to get my hands on a hks super sequential blow off valve, only problem is that its a universal fitting one. I have an r34 gtt which i want to fit it to, anybody know where i can get/ who sells adaptors for blow off valves??? Thanks guys. I did search but couldnt find anything.
  13. Hey guys, i bought a cooling pro return flow intercooler about 3-4 weeks ago from just jap, installed myself with a mate. Havent had any issues with it, 550 bux, cant go wring in my opinion, its a 600x240x62.5(2.5inch). ive been told its good for about 330kw, i recomend it.
  14. Absolutely nothing wrong with the just jap cooler. Ive got a cooling pro return flow, 2.5 inch conecting to stock plumbing. Love it, no problems at all....so far lol. I recomend it mate.
  15. Hi mate, i have an r34 gtt aswell, also in need of tune and am leaning in the same direction with nistune. I had a look at nistune.com and it says the type 4 board is $460.00 How much is it costing you to get installed and tuned???
  16. Howcome the traction light were on aswell, i can understand the check engine light lol, because its not sparking. Any ideas???????
  17. Have you got the yellowjackets aswell?? Im confused as to why the traction lights were on while in idol, any ideas???
  18. Hey guys. Started my car up on friday morning, in which it felt like absolute shit. The traction light was on, slip light was on, and the check engine light was on. WHILE IN IDOL. Shaky as anything like a cylinder was completely missing. Turned the car off and started it back up, it disapeared. Then while i was driving, it happened again, lights back on, and a very unstable car. We checked the coilpacks which ive had for about 9 months now, new yellowjackets, and removed 1 lead at a time as the car was running and it was the exact noise which it had been making. we ended up finding that it was number 6 not doing anything, so we took it out and placed in in the spot of number 1, after this, 6 was ok and 1 became the problem. Is this a common thing and why did the stated lights appear?? do i have a ecu problem, im going to get in touch with my coilpack supplier as one is buggered. Appreciate the help guys.
  19. Will have to check that out, better safe than sorry
  20. but its stopped doing it all together, cant feel it at all????
  21. hahahaha yep, nice and cost effective lol
  22. hahaha nice. It has stopped the shaking now, well, the day after anyways, so now i dont know about the rotors anymore?? Its back to normal and i havnt changed anything.
