  1. yeah mate im with ya 100 percent here, thats also why i didnt get a skyline that had been owned over here yet. first owner, and stock as hell when i got it.
  2. Ok no worries, would it be ok to do it all with minimal driving and get a first and final tune up done when finished??
  3. Is that buying a new ecu or get it remapped and let them know whats going to be happening to the car?? As for afm, would the bosch z32 afm be suitable for this?? And injectors, something around 500cc???
  4. Hi mate, yeah its going to be purely for street use,what u mentioned is sounding pretty bloody good at the 250-270rwkw. Would i need an ecu or would they remap the old one when it gets tuned?? And what would be the best order to get this done, im assuming that the turbo would be the last thing on the list?? front mount which already have, fuel pump and injectors, afm, and then the turbo last?? or get a new turbo and put it in but run only run low levels until the others are done?? Appreciate your help mate.
  5. My car wouldnt see a great deal of the limiter as its just going to be for street use. The car was bog stock when i got it and i have just be doing the breathing mods mainly but now want to up the levels. So this really is the maximum power youl get before mass amounts of money are required. And 450 at the wheels is a pretty nice amount. What is the fuel rail??? i have seen a few around but it hasnt been mentioned as something id need, any help there???
  6. Point taken but i think im keen to build this 1 up, as i know it hasnt been thrashed and hasnt got many mods at the moment, and what has been done, ive done myself. This way i know what my car has got and has been done to it etc.
  7. Sweet. Would the stock internals hold this or would the engine have to have a bit of work to it??

  9. I think im chasing more 400-450 at the wheels. ive been reading around a little. 500 at the wheels is a costly excercise.
  10. holy "curses repeatedly"!! So a bigger turbo, rated at 500hp, 700cc injectors, suitable fuel pump, remapped ecu or a brand new one?? Not sure what the e85 or z32afm are?? FMIC is currently the blitz se kit, tube and fin, 620x266x76. Clutch being the Exedy single plate heavy duty. NSK 7333HD with the standard flywheel. Would the stock flywheel be ok with this or need to be changed?? I would imagine the clutch and fmic are going to cope ok with this?? Thanks again.
  11. well if 450 would be insanely cheaper id go for that, So its mainly the fuel system/part that needs to be built to support this kind of upgrade?? Fuel rail i have heard of, not exactly sure what it is tho.

Is there a forum which will give me all the info i need and what should be done to the car to safely run these levels. Thanks guys.
  15. you can put aftermarkets on, youl need a boss kit tho. goes on before the steering wheel. Do a search for "boss kit" on google.
  16. Hey guys, i have an r34 GTT, i just saw one with a full nismo dash, gauges, speedo going up to 300 and all. Just curious to know how and where i can get the stock dash changed to the nismo?? Id imagine its not an easy job Any ideas and coments. cheers guys.

  20. Hey guys, i have no idea where to post this. So il have a crack I have an r34 GTT,now on the back it says skyline as they do, but i really like the big silver letters that say it, and i have them like pressed into the back, the writing is white and the car is white, can barely see it. anyone know where can actually get these letters and put them in the place of whats there now??? Hope that made sense. Thanks in advance.
  21. Hi guys, got a full pioneer system installed yesterday, deck amp sub back and fronts..was working fine. Jumped in the car last night and nothing, head unit doesnt even turn on. i have checked ALL fuses that have anything to do with the stereo, i have tesed with a multimeter at the amp and have 12 volts there, but the light isnt on. tested the amp fuses, mains audio fuse..all fine. Any ideas?? being a public holiday i cant get a hold of the company that put it in until tomorow.. Any help would be great guys, driving to the city later today and want some music lol. Cheers.
  22. The rms of the front are 50 watts, pioneer TSA1683S, and the back RMS is 30 watts, pioneer TSG1642R. The amp im using is a pioneer GM6400F, so do you think it will sound ok/good having the front speakers through the amp and the back speakers off the deck?? What do you mean a rear stage?? Dont often have my music blaring loud, but want it to sound good and be really clear more than anything. Its not the most expensive setup but am pretty sure itl be quite a difference to whats in there now. Would you recomend this setup being that it is on the wallet friendlier side than others. Thanks again.
  23. I was at jb on the weekend, you can get pioneer splits on speacial for $196.00, mind you im in WA lol. But to be honest, save the money and just get some decent 3 or 4 ways, pioneer 4 way 280 watt, 6 or 6.5 inch for less than $200.00, sound awesome aswell, wont be disapointed, with or without an amp.   24. Hi all, have an r34 GTT and am in the process of upgrading the sound system. I have bought some 280 watt pioneer 4 ways to go in the front which will be through an amp. And for the back i have got some 180watt 2 ways also pioneer, Will that sound ok, or should i get something bigger for the back, il have a sub in the back aswell. Have heard the back dont really do a lot, so should i just keep with what i have?? Thanks guys

I bought a 3 inch x force cat back on christmas eve last year and that cost me $660.00, pretty sure just jap do a 3 inch turbo back stainless for around $1200, like the other bloke said, fitting takes no time at all, specially for someone who knows what there doing. took me and a mate just over the hour to remove the old and put in the new, but that was only cat back. "shouldnt" cost more than 4-500 to get fitted. Id recomend x force no dramas.
