Bearing arnt so much 'hard' to replace, more along the lines of pain in the arse.

Slight thread hijack but since this is about sway bars this is my best bet. My R32 GTST understeers like its going out of style, in the rain I may as well just not turn sometimes. Its only on standard rims ATM so there are all of 2 inches wide (slight over-exaggeration) But I'm moving up too 8 iches up the front soon. Tyres are of good quality and a decent brand unlike the rears. Next planned buy for my baby is a set of decent sway bars. What would you guys suggest?

This is the problem I have, Offset for those rims is currently unknown. They arnt in QLD and aparently no offset numbers are on the rims. All I can tell you is thats theres only about an inch of dish (yeah not really dish but still...lol) and the mounting face isnt very 'deep' in the photos. I can roll the guards if need be but I cant see these rims really needing it if the tyres are steched a small amount. Other than those rims im looking at Work Emotion CR KAIs, 17 X 7.5 and I think they are +35

Right bit of an odd question guys, I've got a chance to get my hands on a set of Volk VSXX's, 17 x 8 up front and 17 x 9 on the arse. Going onto a HCR32, What offset/s will suit the car best. Not interested in having them stick out, and if I can get away with it not rolling the guards. Just nice fitment without having to strech the tyres much or at all if possible.

Yes there is knowledge backing up the fact that it can hurt your car, There are also people who have done it and never had a problem. Like the sound? Do it, its easy as hell. Dont like the sound and think its stupid close the thread and move on.

I'm trying too work out how far it sticks out from the body. Looks like its just on the first fold. Looks mint anyway, not ricey, not overly big just a nice fit. What did yours set you back?

Your going to be her little B**** for years too come, and from the work she has done...it will be worth it. I have every photo you have posted saved, in its own folder simply named 'Awesome'. Props to you for letting this happen but she is a goddess or being able to do it in the first place.

All the buggered Big end bearings I've heard you KNOW its a bearing. Its not so much a ticking as an audible 'im f**ked' sound.

Turbosmart Boost Tee, set it up inside your engine bay so you cant touch it without pulling over and popping your bonnet. Had a friend run through 3 engines because he had it in cabin and could just wind it up at any time. Given it was a Turbo Holden V6 but still...3 engines gone.

Sounds like an injector Grab one of your injectors or lines at a time while the car is running, if one is plusing diferent to the rest theres your problem.

Im reading this as your car is still making that lovely boost noise BETWEEN gear changes, as in foot on clutch and its still 'boosting' while your shifting. If so this is not good thing.

Lucky for me my baby is Black on black. Might have too invest in one and just find out, If its worth the effort a new fibre glass boot and some well placed holes will be o there way.

Duck wings arnt really my thing, but the kit im looking at buying comes with a N1 Boot lip. Why is a GTT wing on a R32 Gtst so hard to find, never mind a bloody Unicorn what about that set up. Unicorns cant even find those. Does anyone who has a R34 GTT feel like earning an internet? Dimensions of a R43GTT wing would go down well, just so I will know how high it would sit and how wide on the car.
