Does anyone know if you can by a reasonably cheap mechanical Plumbed Fire Extinguisher Kit in aus? In the UK they sell the following for about 100 pounds + shipping, however they all seem to be reluctant to send outside of the UK (I expect as we probably have different safety standards or something similar). Mechanical plumbed in fire extinguisher The cheapest thing through revolution racegear nsw is about 900 just for a canistar. Anyone one know of similar kits sold in the UK that are available here?

Start the register! I used to know of a few some years ago (at least 3 burgundy and a black were known around) but then they seemed to dissapear.

Change dump pipes. Even if you can find a pair of R34 GTR ones. At the moment I think there is a set on here for about $200.

So much for reputable transport companies! Would they at least give you a refund or just 'store credit'. I gues you get the updated model now?? Can you at least take the parts off the wreck, or the wreck just goes straight to your insurer never to be heard of again?

Have you tried just using adjustable cam gears first?

I am pretty sure the only mechanical difference is they have a atezza fluid cooler. Other things incude Side indicators, tail lights & reversing lights, rear number plate insert, speedo, bonnet badge, roof aerial (and a bunch of stuff I have missed). There is a full list somewhere on this forum. Seats are the same as far as I can tell. Nissan were going to use brembos and v spec 17" wheels but wuused out at the last minute.

Given the car was n/a and your using the stall convertor I personally think this sounds like a good option. Make sure you put up some pics of the install as well!

That ebay price is very steep. Pair of turbos + postage is $2,860 (couldn't tell if they were -5, -7 or -9) By them from Kudos motorsports, he seems to have the best prices and best service in my opinion. If your in sydney I have a pair of brand new in the box 2860-5's that I'll part with for a bit of a discount on new price.

These turbo kits sound like a great idea for a non turbo car no changing manifold etc. Was your engine originally n/a? And as for room in the engine that really wouldn't be an issue in any skyline as all shapes have come in turbo format. These kits do sound interesting so even I am looking forward to your relsults. However given you will need fabricated inlet piping you should throw an intercooler on there. Just by a used gtr one for a couple of hundred bucks. I doubt the piping will cost too much extra given you will already have to get fabricated piping made up. Post up updates when available.

Well the internals aren't forged so 600hp might be a bit much. But I don't see why you could upgrade injectors computer and fuel pump and go for 300-330 rwkw? Just note I'm no expert so don't rely on what I say

I had A 200SX same problem. Turned out to be exhaust manifold gasket. Would tick for couple of seconds then go away. Same problem happened 2 years.

Hi all, I purchased some used front & dump pipes earlier this year. They have already been ceramic coated, which still looks in good nick/ not cracked etc. Just to pretty them up I was going to go over them with some black heat resistant spray paint. Questions; - Would this be harmful / work against the ceramic coating already applied? Shoudl I just leave as is? - Any prep besides cleaning? Should I use a scourer over the coating before applying paint etc or just apply primer and paint? Thanks

I rang my home insurer previously and listed all my valueable parts. They said if you have recipts and or photos of the listed items then that will be fine. Tip always let you insurer know. They didn't charge me any extra. Are you sure your contents insurance won't cover it?

Front pipes or dump pipes off turbos?

Can you post up your results regarding powe and response. I have some -5's to install but am just interested in these kits. Seem like a bargain way to do things. How much did balancing end up costing?

$50 for the pair of manifolds? Got any pics?

I did have the same problem about 7 years ago. Especially on cold nights. It would boost initially to one bar, then fall into limp mode and not go over 0.5bar. Then pull over turn off engine and start up again problem would go away. I installed a blitz EBC hoping this would fix the issue but no luck. I knew the ECU was chipped so then I bought a powerfc and this solved everything. Just use the check engine light as a knock sensor and back off when ever I have too (which is very rarely). Given it goes away once you restart the car I would be betting it is ecu related.
