  3. Are you using stock AFM's. Are R34 AFM much different to R32?
  4. Those results are pretty good. I am putting the same turbos on with CAM gears and will be stoked with that power level and full boost by 4,500RPM. P.S. Seen your car around looks great with the black wheels!

  7. Mishka is awsome!!! I have two huskies. When we got the first (6 years ago) he was really bored and upset when we went to work. As such was howling nearly all day and just being generally detructive. Got a second 2 months later and it fixed everything overnight. Even if they don't hang out together, they take a lot of comfort in knowing that the other is there. There not viscious I have an 18 month old daughter and they know to keep there space or be gentle when she is around (obviously nver leave them unsupervised with children, any dog!) But the hair oh the hair it is full on always around the house, constant brushing when they are shedding (not so bad when they are not) but they shed twice a year for about 6 weeks each time. Huskies aren't the type of dog you train to take orders though. they are very independent so don't really listen unless they want to (if that makes sense). Good Luck!

  9. Yeah if you can get R34 GTR dump pipes grab them and save your money, but everyone has cottoned on to this and R34 GTR owners seem to be keeping their dump pipes. How selfish!
  10. Yeah ACA do suck, Even if it was an audition for the role of stig was the driving in a controlled environment or just on a open public road? Looked like a public road with a handycam and a 200sx. I am not having a go at 'Carlo' or anything as I think it is a safe bet to say the majority of the memebers of this forum (including myself) have done something not so wise on the roads in the past.

  13. Sounds like a good setup Paul. The GTSS is meant to be the same as the 2860-9. I purchased a pair of 2860-5's but am now thinking should go for the -9 or GTSS and have similar results to yourself.

  16. I sit possible to still buy the GTR edition (I think edition 3). I went to the website and setup new password etc but when going back it wouldn't take. Can I just pay directly and you post me the dvd?
  17. What do the filters look like? Any noticeable holes etc? I am no expert but given the number of people that run these filters you don't really hear of them coming apart. Would it be possible that some material maybe left behind the compressor blades and you may see whats in the once the covers are off?
  18. Can you buy off the shelf RB28 rods (except for the japanese tuner brands) such argo, eagle etc or do they have to be special order / custom made? So to go off topic a bit.
  19. For what you are looking at a power fc would be fine (tried and proven). Don't know anything about nistune but people are rating those as well as vipec. The motec is fantastic but just to wire up will probably cost nearly as much as power fc. I would think just selling the M48 should still get you some good money. People who are building competitive tarmac rally or race cars etc would be interested with launch control antilag options etc. I once bought an M48 new but the cost to install and tune was also expensive. Sold it and bought power fc, which made life very simple.

  21. Yeah the $300 kit was just for wheels and seals etc. And like you said by the time the are built and balanced you end up around $1300. However I asked GCG about rebuilding my stockers and they said about $880 each, which was quite expensive (I said they were 32 turbos not 34 as that price is usually for a new cartridge). For the money they sounded ok, but end of the day you get what you pay for.
  22. I asked his same question a few weeks ago but go no replies. I asked the seller a couple of questions and he seems pretty reasonable to deal with. If you just wanted steel wheel turbo's, which run more boost without going chick chick boom then these are very reasonable for $1250 for a pair (exchange), which is a fair bit less than around $2,500 for N1's or 2860-7's etc (obviously these are much better turbos but they would want to be at double the price). He also sells steel wheel rebuild kits for $330 or something but then you have to get someone to rebuild and balance the turbines for you. If your used to a standard GTR these aren't going to be much lagier and will have better power (especially if over 1 bar). Theres a guy on the forums Hypergear or something who rebuilds 32/33 gtr turbos to N1 specs for $660 each, which again is pretty reasonable.
