    I want your GTR memoribilia!
  2. Anyone have any recommendations for m the above question?
  3. Sorry if I am hijacking thread but on a 32 gtr weekend car what is the most suitable oil for the diffs and transfer case? Can the redline slightweight shockproof be used in all of these or something like the motul 300 75-90?
  4. So what if an e36 isn't as fast a GTR. It is a classic car. I still see really nice examples sometimes and have to take a 3rd 4th and 5th look.
  5. Yeah the car you drove sounds like a very worn car, test drive a 200,000k gtr and see what you think. A freind of mine has a 2003 M3 and it had 186 KW at the rear wheels. I love driving it, amazing car but comes at a very expensive price.
  6. Those photos are fantastic, I take it you have a fair bit of photography experience? Try and sell them to the QLD tourism board.lol.
  7. I once drove a 33 gtr with that AP set up on the front and nearly creamed myself, I loved them! AP is just as much a reputable brand as Brembo! I think you need to upgrade the master cylinder on 32 gtr's when you have bigger callipers don't you?
  8. r32 gtr standard turbos Blitz IBC III - 1 BAR Power FC 550cc injectors Front pipes and Cat back exhaust 224kw at all 4 wheels / 252kw at rear wheels.
  9. The serial number should now be stamped into the firewall to re-register the car. I have an Aus delivered GTR and before I bought it over 3 years ago it had been stolen and the compliance plate went missing. The previous owner obtained a letter from Nissan (I still have the original) verifying the authenticity of the car with engine number and serial number. The serial number was stamped into the firewall and vehicle was able to be registered. I have had no trouble in obtaining pink slips, blue slips or registering the car (but i am always producing that letter and keep a copy in the car). Glad to here you got your car back (did you want it back)? Hope this helps!
  10. What are these DS2500's (sorry moving out from underneath my rock tonight)! I have just been pricing up EBC redstuff for my 32 GTR at around $250 per end? Are these DS2500'S any better? The car is just a weekend car (if that) and I am after a track suitable pad.
  11. "FYI These lines are approx. $75-$100 new for EACH brake line." I'm sure they are but they would be NEW. Thanks anyway.
  12. I am sure the V Spec 32 rims are 17 inch. For any nice tidy 32 gtr will you will probably pay 25-30 ( just be careful to buy a good one). I personaly think if you can get a tidy v spec for 30-35k that would the way to go as it is a bit more unique then a standard 32 and does come with a few extras. To this day I think the R32 VSPEC 2 is one of the rarer modern day skylines.
  13. 180 mph they look great. I also have an old zoom magazine with a set of poliched ones on a black aus delivered r32 gtr, it looks fantastic. Great looking wheel in my opinion!
  14. Wheels May 1991: Best Hndling supercars - BMW M5, Ferrari 348, Honda NSX, R32 GTR and Porsche Carrera 4. In the same issue there is also a 6 page road test of the R32 GTR, they have it as the first local drive. I was lucky enough to be able to buy this issue in great condition at a swap meet couple of weeks ago for $2! Another good article on buying a used r32 gtr is in 'Unique Cars' June 2003 issue. I also picked up a book a month or two ago called 'Nissan Skyline GTR' it is a Brooklands Road test book and has the major road tests articles on 32, 33 and 34 gtr's from 1989 - 2002 (included is the wheels road test of the r32) but all the pictures are in black and white.
  15. Was an good demo, got a few pointers and the guys were more than willing to answer questions.
  16. Wow I seriously think this is my old ecu. I bought it around 3-4 years ago for $3,300 never used it (was for my gtst but sold it bought GTR and power fc), sold it to my mate who had a supra for $2,500, he sold his supra and never used the motec so he had it on consignment at UAS and I am pretty sure that you now have it! Incredible BRAND NEW MOTEC setup intended bought for 3 different cars over nearly 4 years and is still to actually be used on a car! If I didn't have a power fc I would be sooooo tempted to buy this back for only $2K!!! Good luck with sale, to me its a bargain!
  17. You should be able to get it transported by road from adelaide to sydney for around $700 door to door.
  18. I'm using an Autotechnica one from K MART (think it usually goes for about $130). I just use it in the garage but it would be great outside also as it is very thick plastic / pvc and is then lined with some type of material similar to flanellette. Covers the whole car to the ground.
  19. how much?
  20. Thanks biggles, Have just gone and registered and posted my interest on Hilarious forums.
  21. Some installers like to make up there own loom. Ring Motec they'll answer your questions.
  22. I'd love a place if possible! I tried the link but got an error message? Am I too late?
  23. Chances are that most 2nd hand skylines have been in an accident. There getting to the age where if they haven't been hit they are very lucky cars. I'm sure theres lots of people driving cars that they think are perfect but have probably just been repaired well.
  24. I bought an M48 brand new and needed a 3 bar map sensor kit, but never ended up fitting it, as it was another $1,500 to install and tune, so I sold it on and bought a power fc. The MOTEC is great just costly to get up and running.
