  1. Hi there, Sounds like an upsetting story. Sorry to say but you need to have a starting price. Just put something to get it going. Also any pics? Where abouts in sydney?
  2. Nice car Dave with the 1 owner being a big wow factor! There was another buyers guide done a GTR's in Unique Cars in June 2003 issue. They used a silver ADM NSW rego AEL16K.
  3. I thought these were supercharged? Anyway g/l with sale.
  4. I remember your previous article. I thought Autospeed blog ceased to exist some time ago.
  5. I thought the -5 came with adjustable heavy duty actuators. I think that is what is fitted to your turbos.
  6. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/286728-nissan-gtr-high-idle-and-throttle-body-fix/ This is it. Let us know how you go. Another issue maybe that one of the throttle body blades couldbe slightly bent. Just recently happened to someone here. In this case a replacement throttle body assembly was required as you are unable to just replace a blade.
  7. I am sure you can rebuild the throttle bodies. I have the same issue and have been quoted around $1,000 to rebuild and adjust. Their is even a tutorial on here about doing it. I am sure these are not a disposable item.
  8. My link
  9. The only thing I picked up was when he used the reference 'Sequential Turbo'. GTR's run 'Parallel twin-turbo'. Still great read. And your car Bob would have to be one of the most authentic GTR's around. Probably only second to a few oddballs in Japan who bought and stored them only :)Looked great on those pages.
  10. Looks like a fun event. Too bad not in Sydney.
  11. I think on average is coming close to annual! But the issues they did release were great!
  12. As the title says I have pair of brand new in the box 2860-9's (no actuators) for sale. Asking Price is $2,400 and I will personally deliver in Sydney. Not looking to arrange shipping so I am looking for sydney buyers only. Regards, Rohin 0411 415 644 P.S. I will post pics later tonight.
  13. Exactly what I was thinking and is why I think this kit is such a great alternative. I certainly hope to build a 2.8 in the future and with a mortgage and a child price will play a big part, hence why this would be my choice. So in short this is a much cheaper 2.8 alternative that has a proven record with tuners in Japan. Correct?? Like Nick said to people who don't like the kit and think it is not a great idea, move along.
  14. If they are original aged rotars throw them away (especially if they are the r32 gtr ones with cross drilled holes as these develop fractures over the years).
  15. I would expect this kit is to give you 2.8L response. I don't think it is designed for huge power or anything. Even HKS recommend use of GTSS turbos so max expected. power would be 360rwkw? Sounds to me like a great idea for people who want the 2.8l response but don't want to spend huge dollars for step 2 engine. This kit sounds like it would make a great street engine!
  16. Seb still has a very comfortable lead but seems to be rattled a bit easier in the last couple of races. I couldn't believe when he was down in 9 or 10 at one stage before he had even pitted. I have really been hoping for a turning point for Mark but unless he now wins a few he may run out of races to earn enough points. Agreed Agreed Is it just me or is anyone else excited about the 4 cyl turbo engines to come in over the next couple of years.
  17. Congrats. What are the odds of getting stolen parts back!
