  1. Just the other day I was wondering what happended to this car
  2. These are the two turbo dump pipes? Do you take paypal?
  3. What colour is the car going to be?
  4. This is the sort of thing I have been wanting to see for ages, "What happened to the ADM GTR's" Good stuff Marko! Would love to hear what became of some those cars I saw years ago. I think a lot of people knew of them at the time. Though with GMS and GIO cars, weren't they JDM cars? They all had JDM tail lights i thought?
  5. hi jason you selling the stock dump pipes off the turbos?
  6. Bob , Does Ron still run a shop? I might get in touch with him to find out a bit about my car. I have service & maintenance receipts from him up until about 108,000km.
  7. By the sounds of things I should remove my aerial for safe keeping
  8. Hi Are those actuators the same heavy duty ones that come with -5' etc? Also they are both different colours in the pic? Or is the gold one a std item? Where abouts in sydney are you?
  9. I like the idea of one of these cars in a manual v8! Nice choice. What sort of power do these engines have standard?
  10. To long ago to remember and it was night.
  11. Marko besides yours and the Kier Wilson car I have only seen one silver ADM around the eastern suburbs but that was long toime ago as well. I also remembered that there was a very heavily modified by sub zero burgundy one in qld some time ago.
  12. I knew of at least 4 burgundy ones in sydney years ago. Three had personalised number plates as follows; DIGO4U - this was running NOS and we had some fun on the gore hill about 7 years ago. SYNRGY KINETIC (OR SIIMILAR) A guy I knew about 12 years ago, his girlfriends dad had a burgundy one in the hills area. I am pretty sure he bought it new. One black one I had seen in a couple of mags is a stripped out big motor tarmac rally car. No idea what would have happend to the above cars now. This year; I have seen a burgundy one around carlingford in peak hour traffic a couple of times driven by a middle aged lady. I don't think her air con works as I saw her driving in wet weather with the window a bit down and had a rag on the dash. I still see one or two black ones around Parramatta every now and then during peak hour.
  13. Sorry to hear about the manifold going missing. I really hope you get this back.
  14. Kevin Bartlett also helped design an ECU chip for ADM GTR's. I had one in my original ECU replaced it years ago with power fc as it started to play up. I think a Guy who owned or worked at Eagle Automotive Asquith NSW had something to do with Bartlett and this chip. I only remember this through someone I knew at the time and that before I owned my car it was maintained there. But I never got in touch with this shop. Also John I would think your probably was the targa car. With the Harropps, Simmons and oil cooler. Were the simmons painted / colour coded to the car with the lip polished alloy? As I am pretty sure thats what the wheels looked liked.
  15. I have a full set of used CES race pipes (includes dumps & front pipe). Ceramic coated. But I would be looking for $1200.
  16. I saw a group c air box like the one moffatt used on the rx7 but it was about $650 ages ago. One of these might be suitable?
  17. Well you obviously know the right people. How did you get this MFR stuff??
  18. Great thread, I just bought a Cigweld tranmig 165 a few weeks ago and and just playing with it at the moment and trying to teach myself but hope to do a course next month. Theres plenty of info on the net about this stuff but I have learnt so much for from practise and good advise from a few forums.
  19. Welcome John, I take it your car was a former Linsay Fox car? From what I can see Kevin and Peter Bartlett entered the GTR in Targa 1993 and were assigned Targa number 720. It still has the non painted lip. Also Jim Richards and Barry Oliver were running another Burgundy GTR (#832), which looks the same (same sponsors etc)but I can't be sure if the shot is in 1993 or 1994 targa. I think both these cars ran in 1994 as well. I have the dvd so I will see if I can see Kevins car and if it has a painted lip. Both cars running aftermarket wheels, can't get a clear shot on Kevins car but Jim's wheels are definately simmons.
  20. Yeah there is very little in aus, which is a shame. So when I am ready look in Japan!. Good 12 housings are hard enough to come across now a days but you have NOS factory racing items!!!
  21. I had not bought an issue of evo for a while but when I saw this turbo issue I had to get it. Great issue as well.
  22. I was digging up this thread to ask the same question Terry!
  23. I can't believe for the same money I paid for the GTR 8 years ago I could have bought 3-4 RX3 coupes. Now good luck getting one for a reasonable price let alone finding one. Nice score. Will be fantastic with period mods and a nice 12a PP!!! Can I ask how you sourced the car in Japan? Aren't the locals buying these up as well so finding one for export is difficult?
  24. You selling the turbo dump pipes? If so $100, I'll pick up?
  25. Does he know who owned the car whilst in Targa? Or is the a rego number in those photos? I have a targa book which spans the first 10 or so years and thers a couple of GTR's in there. Might be able to identify which it was??
