Non factory paint on 20 year old cars is not uncommon.
One of my rear guards defineately has more mica in it from a previous repair and one of the front guards at least has also been painted.
Those Harrops would be awesome though!
As for the indicators I was looking a couple of years ago as one of my lenses is slightly cracked (my bad) and I thought I read they were the same as the ADM 300zx. Trying to find pics on the net.
Check out this link they kinda look familiar from a distance.

All the ADM Wine Red Mica I have seen are like your color RBNT.
The other may have been resprayed given that the front lip is also painted.
I think the side indicators on ADM are the same as 300zx aren't they?
Also for what its worth I love the navy blue colour.
Looks nice brad.
Missing the attessa cooler? You got all the plumbing bits and pieces? The core should be easy to get i.e earls etc.
Anyone know the car that was used in wheels this month (NSW rego plate)?
I have just looked into it a little more and I think your spot on.
Basically I can drive it back on its VIC reg, however once in NSW I have to get blue slip, new green slip from NSW provider and then go to RTA for new plates and rego. If anyone else is interested here is the link to the RTA.
Thanks for your help.
RTA Interstate Transfer
I guess my question is Can I pay NSW stamp duty and leave vic plates on?
Or do I have to get new plates and pay NSW stamp duty as well?
Are there any significant fees with transferring VIC reg to NSW? Does the VIC rego period remain valid in NSW even after putting NSW plates on the car?
Hi Guys,
I am looking at buying a registered car from vic and just wanted to know what has to happen when trnasferring ownership etc with rta (don't be curios about the car nothing exciting).
Obviously just the stamp duty but do I also have to pay for nsw plates?
Thanks Guys.
I just hope they keep the rotary engine available. Its always nice know that some manufacturers are still making sports cars.
Take note toyota, honda & mitsubishi (if you sre still going to kill off the evo).
Hi everyone,
This is not skyline related but my 2007 v6 suzuki vitara gave me a solid emission system warning light this morning.
Obviously I need to get this checked out but I want to know would this car have an On Board Diagnostic II port? Was it an australian standard in Aus like in the US?
Has anyone used one of the scanners you can buy on e-bay?
Any help would be much appreciated.
I like the car but would be too much to bring from tas to sydney but for other people maybe put some interior pics up and note any rust issues.
Good luck, looks / sounds good for the price.
Which L28 blocks came in patrols? was it the F54? If you are staying NA could you still take out an N54 to 89MM?
What did the N42 block come in and where do you find them these days? L28 seem to be few and far between anyway these days.
Don't real z tunes have extra body bracing / seam welding in certain areas added during the rebuilding process?
Also didn't they use carbon fibre in the suspension towers (I read somewhere tranny tunnel as well but am unsure)?
Was suspension slightly redeigned as well (again am unsure)?
That ebay one just describes stripping and repainting, yeal z tune replica my backside.
Spewing, was really looking forward to this.
I think hold off till spring time as the weather over winter will be just as unreliable.
Either way, can't wait!
I have had rc 550cc for over 5 years now. There fine, big enough / reputable brand in the states. Came with a flow report of each injector in the box, which was good.
But I didn't buy them off ebay, was through a workshop in sydney.
