http://www.vic.gov.au/calendar/2014/05.html? Food: Lygon St Chapel St Brunswick St Or basically anywhere in the city you'll fine great restaurants. If you want to get out of the city Two beans and a farm - food is spectacular There are lots of markets around, google melbourne/markets/may - Yarra Glen is particularly good. While you're there you can go to the yarra valley chocolaterie and have lunch at one of the good wineries out there - http://www.restaurantsyarravalley.com.au/ To do/see Eureka Towers for much view so wow The wheel - to see the westies.... Lots of stuff to do around the bay or out in the hills Shit load of bars and clubs around. All tastes catered for so you'd need to define what you like. Chaddy or Doncaster if you're looking for shopping.

  3. In-Cyde - Don't Admin Defeat
  4. Bugger Doesn't sound promising.
  5. Goodness me. This thread delivered in a huge way. Stopped someone from being ripped by EL and matched him to a peach of a car.
  6. lol...so true. Personally I wouldn't touch a VW with a 100ft pole.
  7. I can't believe I'm saying this but an S80 Volvo? 4.4l V8, all the luxo stuff for <$40k.
  8. I very much doubt it. It'll be interesting to see if a lot of EL cars all start coming with aftermarket speedos. That being said, the auction sheet is not of the importers doing, as far as I am aware, so is accurate I suppose. Of course him telling you the Nismo guages have been there since new is him either making shit up or just passing on what he's been told. There's no way he could ever know unless he's known the car since it was knew, so that's a piece of bullshit right there. The car looks absolutely mint so I reckon you may have hit a good one. The paint looks perfect, underbonnet is bloody clean and the steering wheel and gear knob look good. EDIT: I missed the water pump change. That rings a massive WTF bell right there. 51,000ks and needed a new water pump? That's nonsensical.
  9. I'll give ya' a carton of VB and a fitty for it?
  10. I reckon a TRD sticker across the back window would make it more reliable AND better on fuel.
  11. I got 485 from 59.5 litres....winch included 200+ driving to PI for tough mudder a couple weekend ago. Was expecting better, but in not surprised at how crap that is.
  12. You won't notice a performance difference between them if all you're doing is basic web and WP stuff. If a choice had to be made, Intel. Better CPUs. You don't need the extra cores which is the only possible advantage the AMD may have.
  13. Go test drive one and I'm fairly certain you'll change your tune. Put a fully specc'ed (and for $50 you can tick every box) Focus ST against any 10+ year old Beemer or Audi, and the Focus will kick the shit out of it in every way.
  14. http://www.carsales.com.au/demo/details/Ford-Focus-2013/AGC-AD-12866092/?Cr=7&sdmvc=1 Good luck finding anything better. Edit: LOL...great minds, and all that
  15. Cool. At car rates it's a tight call between cash and finance but cash avoids a lot of headaches. You only get a "hit" if they actually do a VEDA check. Just enquiring about rates and doing calculations doesn't trigger that. It's only once you actually submit an application they run the check. By Sratton I assume you mean Stratton Finance? They are one of our groups; a good bunch of guys and gals.
  16. I had that happen once. Had probably 1/8th of a tank left....parked in my usual spot and the friggin' thing wouldn't start. Wrst still it was nosed into a spat where I had to reverse back up a hill to get out....had to jump on the bike and go get a jerry of fuel. Very annoying.
  17. Most of them don't what that type of work nor you as a type of customer. Most panel beaters are simply there to pull as much money from insurance companies as they possibly can. Insurance jobs are big money so every hour they spend cutting out rust for $50 an hour is time they aren't spending making $150 an hour on an insurance job. Note I said MOST. There are always exceptions to the rule. Also I found Ashwood were a little tardy getting me a quote too. I had to go see them a couple times, but it eventually came and it was a fair price from memory. Having a look at some of their work in there, I would have been happy to pay it.
  18. Piiiiiiics please.
  19. Pure sex. I wish I had a spare couple grand. Those things are mint. Don't budge on price, they are worth every bit of $2,500.
  20. White C34 RS4S Dayz on Greensborough Bypass up and through the Civic Drive roundabout. Eventually turned right off Diamond Creek Rd down Aqueduct Rd towards St Helena. I was on the matte black CBR1000 and gave you the thumbs up.
