Time for a new turbo if you're after more power. Can't go past the hypergear line up for RBs. I'm not sure what E85 availability is like in Brisbane. If it's a bit suspect, perhaps WMI might be a better option?

R33 Gtr - Midnight Purple - 1996 - Series 2

Wow, that thing is amazing. Congrats to the purchaser and condolences to the purchasee -
Just do what I do. Pretend you're doing what they ask, act like a dumbass, string them along for half an hour then laugh and tell them their parents must be very proud of what they do and hang up. They often call me when I'm in the middle of making dinner. I'm fairly accomplished at holding the phone to my ear with my shoulder while I cook so I just make them think I'm doing what they ask, "yeah, I'm holding the windows key...then what do I type? events? the windows key is the one next to the Home key, isn't it? Where's the window key again?" It's amazing how long they will persist if they think they have a victim. I had four of them on the phone to me once, trying to get me to open the event viewer. I had them going for over half an hour. That's my record. I usually get bored after about 15 minutes.

And yes, it should have been "pour".

Buy a shitter (or stick with kelvinator) and spend the rest on piss and partying. f**k saving while at uni. You're only young once, have fun and spend up while doing so. You'll have plenty of time to poor everything you earn into bills and debts and shit after uni. For now just enjoy your youth while you still have it.

Wait, so it's a GTS-T and someone's pulled out the RB25det and put in an RB25de? If so, you may as well have bought one with a turbo. You're driving a car you're not meant to, regardless of engine. Removing the turbo doesn't make it P plate friendly. As for your problem, I'd start by sourcing a non-turbo ecu for it.

What Would You Get As A First Car?
Cowboy1600 replied to Bossramsay's topic in General Automotive Discussion
R31 Skyline/Pintara wagon. Cheap, reliable and you can r00t in the back...or so I've been told... You can also carry half your wardrobe and a heap of other shit you need when you inevitably end up living out of it days on end when you're out getting pissed with your mates. -

'93 R33 S1 For Sale/swap
Cowboy1600 replied to potrod510's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Looks in good nick so you might get $8k. -
Mixing your own fuels is not practical for a daily/semi daily. I also doubt you save much as the price difference is defeated by the increase in consumption. For a track car it might be worth while. Blending inconsistent E85 with consistent 91 is possibly safer than a straight 85 tune. Of course you'll be down a bit of power. But if it was for a track, personally I'd buy a 44 of sucrogen straight from Shell to ensure quality and consistency of ethanol content. That would defeat and cost benefit. Then again I could be talking out my ass....
-
A pair? Maybe $200-$300. Probably closer to $200. Two wheels are kinda of useless. A full set in good nick could potentially fetch $1,000.

Yeah, still playing though not as much as previously. Still a good fun game.

Butterfly Labs Bfl Little Single Bitcoin Miner 30Gh/s - As New
Cowboy1600 replied to 666DAN's topic in For Sale (Other Items)
There wouldn't be any duties, etc, cause I'd get one and I'd get a mate to get one that brings em in at under a gorilla each But $2k ain't bad. I have a little co-op together and I think we're keen. We can't figure out if it'll ever pay itself off or not, but for $500 each we're willing to give it a bash. I'll be in touch. -

What's the best price you'll do on the 50, taking into account it's old tech and you can get a 2x25s for ~$1600 brand new from Butterfly labs - they are ready to ship. -
Butterfly Labs Bfl Little Single Bitcoin Miner 30Gh/s - As New
Cowboy1600 replied to 666DAN's topic in For Sale (Other Items)
EDIT: Actually, if you had one in your house today, it may pay itself off in a few weeks but in 24 months the cost of the power used to mine would be greater than the BC you get in return, so there's money to be made on one for the next couple of years. -

What's the payback like? How long to earn a whole bitcoin? How much electricity does it use per bitcoin? -
Hypergear Ss2 Turbo
Cowboy1600 replied to blah_blah's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
In case someone is looking at this but has yet to see the HG thread, link is here - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-hiflow-service-continued/ The SS2 is probably the perfect turbo for a daily driven RB25. Tony's price is a ripper, too, when you consider it's almost new and has been coated. -

Will you post brakes at buyers expense? That's a dangerous question round these parts. -

Hey mate, Did the front calipers go? -
Dunno why they'd want the interior...it's all on upside down. In seriousness, sucks to hear it was stolen. Hopefully not too much damage was done by them.

Ahhhh....I thought you were a finance broker.
