  1. Doh! I forgot aboot that. Really need to take more notice of the date. Either way, I'm cleaning my car tonight so if peeps wanna come along, they're most welcome.
  2. Again, only in English this time?
  3. I couldn't give two shits about her driving record. That means diddly squat the day she runs someone over. Fact is she wasn't concentrating on driving, she was concentrating on stuffing her face. Fat bitch should have walked to maccas if she couldn't wait until she got home before digging in. Mate, I see dozens of idiots like this on the road everyday. Pretty much everytime I dodge some idiot who's trying to kill me I can guarantee they were feeding their face, putting on makeup, texting or talking on the phone. Go ride a bike for six months and it'll give you an entirely new perspective on the mouth breathers who are allowed to drive on the roads.
  4. My car is in big time need of a scrub, so I figured I'd see if anyone was up for a meet tonight. I know it's going to rain all weekend (and probably today) but my car is covered in shit out of the gumtree out the front so I want to clean it off before it damages my paintwork. I will likely go to Research car wash but if people are keen for a meet, we can make it the Templestowe carwash at the Apple Peel roundabout. People have till four to respond. Also need a quorum of at least five. Otherwise I'll go to Research. 0418 994 629 if you need to contact me.
  5. I'll be there if it's on the 6th.
  6. I dodge 25 f**kwits like the one described in the OP every morning and every night, while trying to get myself to and from work without dying. They'll get me one day, and my wife and child will cop a SMIDSY and the f**kwit who takes me out will get a stern talking to. A fine is too good for idiots like the focus of this thread. A good flogging is what they deserve.
  7. It's illegal to eat while driving. Not only that, it's f**king stupid. But I'm not surprised she was doing it. Stupid bint probably couldn't rive a greasy stick up a dog's arse, but they gave her a license anyway. Go ride a bike for a year and tell me your idiot friend should be allowed on the road. She's a prime candidate for a SMIDSY award. Stupid bitch. Go f**k yourself, OP. You're just as bigger dumb f**k as her. Talk about real crime? Will it be a real crime when she's posting on FB while driving, runs a red light and t-bones someone? f**king idiot.
  8. I'm gunna take a stab and say no one responded because the answer should be incredibly obvious.
  9. A tune of arse aside (which is obvious so a 9 or 12 second pull is irrelevant), not driving like you're on a track supports my belief. If you're driving around "normally", assuming the car isn't running a T88 or the tune isn't borked to hell, it's not really important what it's like pulling from 1500rpm. How many times do you have WOT at 1500rpm? if it's often, then you're doing it wrong. If I am WOT, then it's pretty unlikely that I'm going to wait around for 2000rpm for my turbo to come on the boil. I'm going to give it a gear or two and get it into lots of boost and then go WOT.
  10. Exactly. In a 1600kg+ car that hasn't been developed to be as light and as powerful as possible, 70-80kgs is sweet FA. That's like not having me, minus a leg, in the passenger seat. For the expense of doing all of that (and it won't be cheap) he could screw another 100hp out of his car quite easily. Now THAT will make a difference. As for economy, it might improve by 1 or 2 percent. If you are worried about getting 450 or 455ks to the tank, then cars just ain't for you.
  11. Is pulling from 1500rpm really indicative of on road performance? The only time I pull from 1500rpm is when I'm going to shift at 3000rpm. If I want the car to get up, I'll give it a gear or two and be pulling from 4k or more. I'm not particularly concerned about performance off boost or below about 4000rpm (as long as it's not dire).
  12. You really don't understand cars that much, do ya? Save weight and gain power? Dude, the savings and gain will be 5/5ths of f**k all. Not worth the effort or the expense. I doubt you'll even feel a difference through the seat of the pants dyno, let alone an actual dyno. If you want more power, there are much smarter ways to go about it.
  13. Look under your dash right of the steering column. You will see a green plug. Unplug it. Now start the car and pump the brake five times. Bammo! You're in RWD mode. The only thing is your 4WD light will flash. No harm will be done to your driveline. I have mine unplugged permanently. The 4WD light doesn't bother me.
  14. And diesels sound awesome with a bit of work and a big exhaust.
  15. The fact he felt it necessary to push on the steering wheel through the firewall everytime he floored it? That's what gave me the impression.
  16. Sorry, I had to vote for the Pink Taco. I don't really get the whole mowing a lawn with a Zamboni?
  17. A much better idea. Imagine the torque of a 7L v8 turbo diesel. 1000nm+
  18. I'm here to help. I just wish I could also attend the cruise But already got plans for Sunday (which is why I voted for the following week )
  19. Why would you not do this:
  20. That's f**king hot. My bike would spank them both to 250ish, however Actually, on second thoughts it'd probably be a fair race.
  21. Adjusts the speed of your intermittent wipers. ie, the time between each wipe. (short for faster, long for slower).
  22. Does your exhaust have a cat? And how loud is it?
  23. That's gotta be the single dumbest thing I've ever heard of. No one will ever do that because people with the kind of money required are 100% retarded.
  24. What does it say you have to do to clear it?
  25. No such thing as too stiff. The only defectable things when it comes to suspension are worn shocks (bounce before settle more than twice) or anything obviously illegally modified (chopped springs/bump stops). Exhaust I assume means noise so a $40 noise check should resolve it. As for too much low, have you measured it? Is it too low?\ Also, what kind of car?
