  1. Are you going to be parting this car out? If so I'm interested in the wheels. If not, dang
  2. Anyone here own the white Stag that's parked on Harker St in Burwood most days? I think the young bloke who drives it works at a mechanics along there or a sunroof installers. If it's you send me a PM and I can show you a better place to park it. More secure and out of the sun. BTW, I drive the black (very, very dark purple actually) R33 that you may have seen around there.
  3. I'll take the airbox. PM me your mobile so I can give ya a call to come grab it. Cheers
  4. Couldn't wait for an answer so I went ahead and trusted myself. I was right.
  5. The thing with the green dot is the Wastegate Actuator, isn't it? And in the bottom pic the line that runs from it to the intake piping is what you cut and install the Turbotech boost controller on, is it not? While I am new to these fandangled EFI and turboed cars, I think I have a fair idea of what is what but just wanted to clarify first.
  6. What condition is the rubber?
  7. What size is the good rubber?
  8. How much you want for the airbox?
  9. Are they 4/100 and 4/114.3 multi fit? I don't think they are, but it they fit 5/114.3, I'll take em.
  10. My best mate owns MacGregor Logistics in Sunshine. They cart all over the country, theirs rates are very competitive and they pride themselves on the quality of their service. A lot of people in the industry know of MacGregor's even though they are just a small family run company. If you need anything moved give them a call on 9312 771 - ask to speak to Marty and tell him Aaron passed on his details. I will guarantee that you will get service 2nd to none. Their depot is in Vella Drive in Sunshine. They also have local pick up/delivery in most capital cities and can arrange pick up and drop offs en-route between cities. If anyone needs anymore info feel free to drop me a PM.
  11. Eeeeexcellent. I work in Burwood so ain't too far. Are you going to be around tomorrow at all?
  12. Where is "south east"? I'm interested.
  13. BB, just because an insurance company puts a clause into their contract stating they won't pay out if certain conditions are met, doesn't necessarily mean that it will actually stand up in court. There are a whole bunch of things an insurance company are compelled to do, and many conditions under which they must pay, regardless of how they attempt to shirk their responsibilities. Personally I think the OP is either a troll or just a complete f**kwit. But the ensuing discussion has been interesting and it's certainly telling that people assume everything that the insurance company says is gospel.
  14. Necrothread! Simark, you still about? If so, are you offering any deals for SAU members for your most bodacious boost controllers?
  15. Why not say, sure, for $1500 and I'll chuck in two fronts for zip! If I had $1500 blowing a hole in my pocket I'd snap em up (too bad I'm post-wedding broke ATM)
  16. Good choice dude. In the words of one F. Sinatra "A Ferrari is something you drive when you want to be someone, a Lamborghini is something you drive when you are somebody."
  17. Hey guys! Well I've finally done it. After 15 years of driving and after owning some 14 assorted cars and motorbikes I've finally gone and bought my first fuel injected turbo. And it's a Skyline! The new ride is a Series 1 R33 GT. It's black with a bit of purple, manual and stock apart from a big FMS, exhaust and filter. My previous ride (which I still have) is a 1974 Datsun 180b with a heap of goodies. I'm a Datto fanatic at heart but have lusted after a Skyline since they first started popping up at importers on the Cold Toast about 15 years ago. I'm a fairly prolific poster and an active on a number of bike and car forums. I reside in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne (specifically Hurstbridge) with my very, very soon to be wife. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Cheers, Aaron.
