  1. I want some! You wouldn’t mind driving out to Mawson Lakes to give me a couple of slices would you? I’m hungry As usual I’ve spent my hour off from uni on SAU and now I don’t have enough time to get some lunch.
  2. Aberax you know that I have never ever had a WD drive fail on me? Not once, but I do have Seagate drives fail quite a bit for myself and clients. The Western Digital external range is quite good in my opinion. I have the WD 1TB My Book Essential drive which works quite well and it has a visual disk capacity gauge on the front. A cheaper version would be the Elements Desktop range which is essentially the same thing but no fancy features, just a standard drive. There are also portable pocket drives. Depends on what you need really. As Aberax mentioned, keep in mind that if you are going to use this drive with the PS3 you will need to format it in the FAT32 file system which prevents single files exceeding 4GB in size and that can be a problem with video files and so on. You can always build your own external drive with a drive of your choice and a good external enclosure, however it is now cheaper to purchase an off the shelf prebuilt solution. Yeah, TVersity is quite good, have a look into it.
  3. Yep that’s all I do.
  4. I can see my mates house
  5. I also think it’s a S2 motor however I am unsure if the non turbo RB25 follows the same conventions as the turbo version. The TPS is the 2 plug type which S2’s have. Also, the S2 motor has a pink label on the AFM, not a green one which would be for the S1.
  6. I’ve got the same issue on my other R33. Happens around 100-110km/h. I’ve got new tyres, had the wheels balanced and aligned over 5 times so far. Over the many visits back to my local tyre shop they found the wheel nuts were not correct discovering they were not tapered enough so the wheel was able to wobble at high speeds. Changed all of them which made a small difference. Next thing I found was the tie rod ends were stuffed causing play. Replaced them and the shuddering reduced however didn’t fix the issue completely. Found the tension rod bushes had started to perish, however after replacement only a slight improvement was felt. I’m still trying to find the issue. I’m going to swap my front wheels from my other R33 to see if it’s the wheel itself. Perhaps check the parts that I have mentioned for any wear or damage.
  7. As PM-R33 mentioned they are exactly the same in fit and wiring. I have only found two differences which are the warning lights are outlines rather than full squares of light and an updated cover which creates small circles rather than open spaces for the warning lights. Keep in mind autos have a gear position indicator between the speedo and tacho.
  8. Got hold of an intercooler today so that is one part off the list (thanks Andrew ). Thanks to all who messaged me regarding an intercooler. If anyone can still help me out with the following that would be great: R33 S2 left hand (passenger) headlight with no broken mounts/good clear lens. R33 S2 stock electric A/C fan with good mounts. Rollin Stock – I can help you out with a few of those parts you have listed. I’ve sent you a PM.
  9. LOL, yeah that’s a good idea. I’m an hour or so away Thanks, my car is nearly back on the road, just need a few more parts
  10. I’m down south near Marion so that’s a fair distance away.
  11. I’ve got a complete set of stock R33 suspension which you can borrow. Shocks aren’t great however there are no leaks or anything. Should get you through.
  12. LOL, I like!
  13. Thanks I miss driving it already.
  14. I recently purchased and had installed the Kudos Motorsports 100,000km service kit for the RB25DET (link). Comes with everything you need to do the core 100,000km service. At the time I also did my coolant (plus all other fluids), thermostat and ancillary belts. You can also choose what timing belt you want.
  15. Caused some damage to my beloved R33 on the weekend WTB R33 Series 2 stock side mount intercooler in perfect working condition (i.e. no leaks) preferably less than 100K old, R33 S2 left hand (passenger) headlight with no broken mounts/good clear lens and R33 S2 (again) stock electric A/C fan with good mounts. If anyone can help please PM me
  16. Love the speeds SSDs pump out. They are especially mad in RAID 0. Well, my main occupation is a third year uni student however when I am not doing that I am a freelance computer tech. I’m off to my repairer tomorrow to see what the go is. Currently my car is in the garage with the front end stripped. Got myself a front bar today so just need a new stock side mount, a left-hand headlight and the electric engine overheat fan (as the mounts are now cracked). My crash repairer will have to straighten the edge of my guard and my bonnet as well as repaint them. At this stage can’t see much more damage thankfully. I'm going to post up in the SA Wanted to Buy thread to see if anyone can help me out with some parts I need.
  17. Agreed, losing files sucks. You would be surprised how many people come to me asking me to recover files lost in formats. To save time and avoid exactly that I have my files sitting on another internal hard drive that doesn’t get touched when I format. I simply point the desktop, documents and other similar system folders to that drive and so all my documents, music, desktop icons and other stuff I want to keep is instantly restored without any loss. I just have to remember to unplug that drive when I need to format.
  18. I did mine last month. I format once a year to keep the speed. I hate doing it as I make far too many little customizations to Windows and my programs which I end up forgetting.
  19. You shouldn’t have any speed change (unless you are downgrading your plan’s speed of course). The upgrade usually happens at midnight as that is when account plan changes are processed. Have you power cycled your modem/ other network equipment to ensure any changes are recognised?
  20. Yes, the R33 S2 rear reo bar is still available.
  21. Take a look here. I would say this is what you are after. I think the ECU temp sensor is 2 pin. Decent store with quick postage and very good service.
  22. Maroon R32 parked outside Bunnings at Westfield Marion at 8:20pm. Also a silver stag parked in the bottom level undercover car park near Big W.
  23. I can confirm that myself and my +1 will be attending on Sunday for the cruise and breakfast. Is the 5:30am meet at Castle Plaza still going ahead?
  24. What Dohmar said ^. I’ve heard there is a predefined sample audience, that is to say people sign up with a company and that company then installs a data collection box that monitors the channels people tune to and sends that data back via the phone line. I know this company Nielsen does what is called ‘Television Audience Measurement’. I have TiVo in my house and I believe it also monitors channels that are watched and reports back via its network connection to the TiVo severs. Also Today Tonight is a terrible show
