  1. hi cam is for both series 1 and 2 only the exhaust cam is different( different key holes for the cas) i will take 180 plus postage unless u want to pick it up

    Hi all i have a series 1 auto ecu for sale $100, neo crank angle sensor $100, Tomei intake cam is still for sale make an offer and a stainless steel kakimoto regu 3 inch exhaust $500 Pick up preferred but i will post or courior Want it gone before Xmas I am 2.5 hours out of brisbane in the south burnett.
  5. The cam itself is for series 2 but the crank angle sensor fits the very late series 2 as well as the neo's

Bugger another tuning session lol Makes sense though as the car is more lag down low but i haven't tried to feel whats up high Also the tuner at the time overloaded the timing in the car by about 10 degress ( 35 degress at 6500 rpm ) I have backed timing off the whole chart down to 24 degress at 6500max after most of the spark plugs got destroyed with the head gasket.
  7. hey not sure if in right thread but since i have a hypergear turbo i thought id ask My atr43g3 turbo run at 18psi straight from the actuator but when i replaced the head gasket the exhaust cam was found to be 2 teeth out. Since i have put them back to proper timing car now boosts at 15psi Just wondering if thats happened to anyone else?
  8. it is the rb25det neo cam angle sensor it is also suited to the very late series 2 r33 gtst motors.

  11. I found that Emanage Ultimate are not to bad especially in an auto as piggy backs are a bit limited. I ended up getting an Emanage Ult with proper harness to suit rb25det for under 900 via ebay ( just look at for the american sales as they are cheaper ) and that was new with warranty.
  12. Im not to sure about just changing the 2 signal wires. In my thread somewere it says that the plug is to be changed 1-4 2-3 3-2 4-1 Hope that helps by the way i have a r34 cas sitting here that i dont need anymore

I kind of in that grey area with my car as well, Supplying parts and getting someone else to do it seems a bad idea ( my experience anyway) at least if the mechanic gets the parts and breaks them you may have some leg to stand on but not if you supply them. The other thing that worries my with your post is the number of times the car had to be brought back ( If it feels wrong go some where else!!) and the fact is the mechanic now has enough "grey area" to shift the blame

Here is the reply Car has been at mechanics at all times and they had the issues i been the one trying to get the thing going, I also wont sit around and get ripped off either so get your facts straight before you comment.....I could go into whats been done but you proberly wouldn't understand...

  18. can someone please let me know if i can use a r33 series 2 manual ecu to start my auto r33 series 2 ? The reason i ask is i am waiting to recieve my auto ecu but would actually like to get the car started before hand. A mate has given me his to try for the time being.
  19. glad u sorted it out if u ever want a plug in harness just go to supercheap and get the nissan one it aint pricey and save a lot of time
  20. found ecu to 'have let the smoke out" must of been when cas was getting re-wired
  21. I am currently waiting on the nissan consult software and cable to verify timing but the location of the sensor was exactly in the same position. also adjusting didnt seem to do much either i am currently waiting on another cas
  22. Doesnt seem to be car cranks over fine and lights are working radio works as well

Hi I just replaced the head and installed a set of Tomei cams and my car will not start, I had to use a neo crank angle sensor due to the key way on the cam but i managed to rig up the old sensor with the new key way with the same results. All my Timing marks line up 100 percent on the crank and 2 cams and i have replaced plugs checked for fuel and even tried a timing light while cranking. I have a emanage computer which tells me that the car while trying to start is sitting on 172rpm and timing is at 18 degress. I have pulled the plugs out and have seen the plugs firing and also seen fuel going into the bore. I did have a fuse blow while the wiring was changed for the crank angle sensor but that has since been replaced i have also gone through my car with the muilti meter and have not found any other blown fuses. I am using standard cam gears not aftermarket so they can only be installed one way. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated The car will not even try to start it only turns over and over .....whilst getting fuel and spark....
  24. I manually tested the Cas with it off the cam and it was supplying spark and fuel to the injectors . A mechanic friend said are they exactly bolt on exchange as he said the pulse rate or something may be different.
  25. Cheers for that, Only problem is car still wont start..... changed plugs, checked for spark,fuel, than did compression test and found that my cylinder that read 140 psi only has 40 psi WTF! I think the cause was while we were trying to get the car started it flushed the bore with fuel also did a leak down test and found some leakage in the valves I really am not having a good day..............................
