Can some one please tell me if the crank angle sensor are interchangable from series 1 to series 2 the reason i ask is i had new cams installed and they are a series 2 version and the keyhole didnt line up and taking the cams back was not a option so i ended having to buy a newer crank angle sensor. My mechanic and i got everything back together this arv and car will not start just turns over.

Its ok, I managed to track one down. I originally had the aluminium top which had a half moon on the sensor and the other half moon on the cam itself. I had a series 2 skyline but it had a series 1 cas. The Cas i was looking for has basically a round circle but looks like its been cut down the middle ( well almost )

I didnt think it worked with the z32 board

Well the Cams were Tomei , weather or not there was a slight mishap with the cam ill never know, so i ended buying another cam just to get the car running ( cost was 550 ) and it arrived today and found that my cam angle sensor was the wrong type on my car. I than called Triple 9 who is the company only to be told to buy a newer cam angle sensor i than asked him about just swapping my cam which is exactly the same only the end into the sensor is different and than got told " because you bought the cam a little while ago we cant just swap it over but we can look after you buying a new one" What a Pile of Shit! I bought the cam one month ago and its been sitting in the box this whole time. I really cant stress to you all not to do business with Triple 9 .

Hi there i need help finding a series 2 crank angle sensor ASAP It must be the type that DOESN'T have the Half moon on the sensor and the other half on the cam . New or 2nd hand it dont matter

A reputable mechanic was doing the job with a print out of the work shop manual so Im pretty sure he was doing it right. i spoke to the supplier and they said that i would have to send them back to the supplier for testing which would take about a month as well as me having to say all postage costs to Japan

Mate i have a set of 256 cams and had one of them snap while installing CORRECTLY . I am currently talking to the dealer that said it must of been installed wrong and am waiting on a call back.......If i dont hear from them i wont hesitate to name the cam type and dealer so you can stay clear.

look bud , stock solenoid wont work, Atr43g3 turbo if its new it will open waste gate at 18psi( if not it will open at 15psi ) , If you attach the standard solenoid it may stuff your car, the stock solenoid originally worked off 5 - 7 psi . Honestly if you asking this your going to be like me and stuff your car!! remember original waste gate was about 7 psi

What is the best head cleaner that will clean the head while it is out of the car? I want to remove all the outside grease/gunk as well as stuff in the chamber any help would be tops thanks

My guess is Vac leak as well as possible latency timing on the injectors. Mine seemed to run high with that.

I have them in my car but only running standard lift, mechanic freaked out when trying to compress them lol

hi i currently have a r33 gtst with 3 inch apexi front pipe andc than 3 inch kakimoto regu exhaust ( sorry for the spelling ) I have tried having the first muffler removed and car sounds like ass i than tried having a another muffler installed and still sounded like rubbish. What would you all recommend i want a car that has a great note( like mine ) but just a bit louder with out sounding carp and also not drony also would be benefit to put out more power as well , has anyone done this before ? thanks
