  1. Markos quick question. I honestly think its the mental struggle in the gym and outside that decides if the person will succeed. Have you had anyone in your gym with such issues ( depression, anxiety etc ) and have actually succeeded or are we just a lost cause?

  3. Brotato. I stated it wasn't banned that is all. The reason it is off the shelf is because ds pulled it until they conduct there tests
  4. Craze wasn't banned .. There was a lawsuit in the states saying craze contained something banned so Ds pulled the stuff off the shelves. Since than the lawsuit has been dropped but craze are conducting there own tests ( that was an email I received from Ds labs after I sent them a query )
  5. I agree. That stuff I use is caffeine free. Seems to work well
  6. After working off of power poles and constantly moving all day and wanting to sleep at night I bought a product called pre workout by elemental nutrition I find it works well. Doesn't give me a huge hit like mesomorph but gives me good clean energy for my workout and I can take it in late arvo and still sleep well
  7. Tried l-theanine last night. Woke up once for toilet run and that was it. Didn't want to get out of bed though but that might of been caused by it being -2

  9. Anyone had a play with this little device ? Was thinking it could be a cheap alternative as a media player/ computer by using 2 separate sd cards ( one with Linux and other with Linux xmbc ) obviously u can't run both at same time but it is a cheap little device.

  11. If you hit a pr last week than dont expect any records this week unless your on the gear lol. There is alot of threads on bb about people breaking pr's in the gym only to have an off week after. Also ask anyone in the gym and they will tell you the same. As to why it happens I don't know Maybe due to fatigue or perhaps your mind likes to play tricks Who knows

  14. I should add that I am trying to keep my protein up to 220-240 grams a day. It's a challenge that's for sure as my job this week has me sitting on my ass in an office. I usually am outdoors climbing power poles etc I have not had a drink for over 7 months so I am happily not adding kilos with beer I do however have a body shape that if I get much fat at all on me my gut sticks out. I currently have about an inch of fat covering the base of my abs
  15. Markos I am about 78 kilos and 171 cm. I always have been short and stocky with puney arms. Even though I have broad shoulders and a large chest I can't lift much ( from memory 2 weeks ago I lifted 70 kilos for 6 reps on the decline bench. I have found out that I don't eat enough protein until about this week. For the last 20 years my protein would of lucky to have been 100 grams a day. I would like to grow some good muscle and actually look proud when I see myself in the mirror
  16. Markos. I took your advice and pissed bread out of my diet. So far I have managed to eat 5-6 times a day. Breakfast is bacon and eggs with porridge. I than have premade 3 meals of chicken brown rice and sundried tomato and feta and for tea I have been having steak and Veges with some sweet potato. After that I have some cottedge cheese . My routine is gym 4 times a week ( sometimes before work 5am ) and other times after work. On day one its chest and biceps day 2 its upper back and lower back than I have a rest day than day 3 is shoulders and triceps and day 4 is legs. Most of my workouts are 8 reps and 3 sets and going to exhaustion on last set ( usually 8-10 ) I usually have my kids on the week ends and would like to know what I can do on the weekends outdoors at home. Let me know if I am doing something incorrect thanks ken
  17. I been reading markos newsletters while I'm doing office work today think I going to get busted lol up to number 31. I think the problem is on the net there is many people telling us what to eat , what to lift etc yet most are wrong. As birds stated about the pt's If the person that's training you is wrong what hope do you have
  18. It will be interesting to see what happens with my diet As I am short and stocky. I used to eat 2 pieces of toast for breakfast half afoot long sub for smoko and other half for lunch than a shake in the arv than tea at night. Now I have 4 pieces of toast. Whole grain of course as well as protein shake 2 scoops . Still half a sub for smoko and lunch but I have double chicken ( whole grain again ) in the afternoon I have 2 scoops protein and 1 of carbs and the same after a work out and than tea is steak/chicken with sweet potato and veges. It's making me so damn full lol

  22. I actually had sleep last night!! Have not had a good nights sleep for almost 2 weeks. I am not sure if it was all the choc protein shakes but it has been terrible. Even GH bLast didn't work. Finally got some last night with the aid of valerian forte and melatonin 6x . ( Strange yet when I tried the gaba and phenibut the other day it did nothing ) I have stopped choc protein and gone to a different flav
  23. Hi all. Was surfing the net in regard to the " last of us " thread and on you tube the op is playing this game on a ps3 em. Has anyone tried this? Just want to hear your thoughts.
