They're quite strong engines and can take a lot. What you're doing simply sounds like what they're made for and i wouldn't worry. There's no point revving it out because there's no torque high up and it doesn't even sound good. If you thrash it too much you'll be paying for it later, but once again what you're doing sounds fine. disclaimer - if your engine dies it's not my fault :lol: -
if in doubt, change the belt. i did all the 100km service stuff when my car came into australia despite what it said on the odo, which was obviously wound back. inspection of the belt showed it was in need of a change as it was cracking in some places. you can just take the cam cover off and check it out.

if it were year 12 you'd be in trouble. but it's year 10. you can easily get into year 11 next year even if you fail a subject. might wanna talk it over with the year level coordinator...

for 90 degree corners, on the street where the limit is 60, the ratio of 2nd gear is usually right for exiting the corner. imagine putting it in 5th and trying to accelerate back up to 60 after a month or so of practice, you'll probably look back at this question and just think "because".

sounds like you probably could've gotten a 32 in better condition. mods like ecu, turbo etc scare me away as they mean the car may be tired. that's why i got a stocker. boosting it won't help either.
