oh also... price ranges suck! look for r32's meeting your criteria and value them yourself. personally, i wouldn't go for one with 170ks... the closer you get to 200, the more stuff breaks ... but hey that's just my opinion. comprehensive checks will tell you the quality... might reflect k's, might not depending on the previous owner. when i was looking... i came to the conclusion that any car that i didn't have to jump on quickly (before all the other young guys looking for r32 gtst's snapped it up) wasn't worth it... the one on uas makes me wonder - looks nice though, go check it out.

Don't totally rule out 1989's. We were looking for a 91-93, after 6 months of looking at loads of junk, one came along, which happened to be a December 1989. After having the engineer check it over we bought it because it is a great car. The only other car that qualified to be checked out by our engineer was a 93... turned out to have loads of problems; troubled hydraulic lifters, had been in a prang but had a good quality respray, only had about 75% of the power it should've and many other small problems... some other idiot paid more than $15k for it - ha ha ha. Happy searching... don't rush it.
