definitely - also with the quality of the cars. i learnt this seeing brake distances between an astra and one of those special alfas of the same year with abs okay anyway... i took a big negative attitude to this. but onyl because i compare murcotts courses to the fun i have at deca hehe. they teach various theories at murcotts, but the bulk of the practical stuff for level 1 defensive is 100% braking in the wet, which for people with ABS involves simply applying max braking. something especially important for those of us without abs.

okay that sounds like defensive driving get ready for a) hours of theory about general road safety b) stomping on your brake pedal all day because you have ABS and there's nothing else they need to teach you in regards to not locking your wheels up when doing an emergency stop. have fun

don't bother with the o2 removal tool. buy a cheap spanner and cut it in half so you can get it in there you may need to lever it out if the sensor has never been changed in the life of hte car. i used the handle of an axe, up against a block of wood supported on the chassis. it did the trick. no way i could've applied the amount of force needed on the spanner without doing that.

hey bud... you remind me of me. took me a while to find a quality stocker. i looked at many 32s from carsales, carpoint, and sau. ended up finding one here on sau. the market is f**ked at the moment, so you will be able to pick up something good for cheap. you can get a workshop or mechanic to check a car that you think is good. i had an engineer who had worked on r32s check 2 cars. first car was a definite no in areas i had no idea about, second car i had him check was a yes and i bought it.
