  1. what happened between you and robbie?
  2. That's funny, I find them easy to tune, they hold there tune great and Robbie is the most helpful tech support person i've come across. In saying that I only have experience with v500's and late model v4's. My last few calls to haltech have been hopeless. Have you tuned many V500's Trent? My last Link had a fault and I would have had to send it away so they could check it out. Ended up having to rewire a couple of relays just so I could give the car back to the customer.
  3. I don't think it will ever get too serious at our venue. The best bit about the night is that we all enjoyed it and i'll be trying my hardest to keep it like that in the future. The highest power figure on the night at our venue was 471 hp. We'll hopefully have a few other builds finished for the next one that will eclipse that and your gtr.
  4. Well what can i say, what a great night. I'd like to thank all the people who came out and the great vibe you brought with you(except steve ). It was great to see all the late nights paid off and people were willing to bring there cars out. It was the first time that a web-linked dyno day has been tried and there was potentially lots of things that can go wrong but there were relatively few problems. We learned alot from it and we're already planning the next one. Tomorrow night we're having a meeting to discuss ways to improve these days so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
  5. for all the doubters, here are two examples of turbo gas working reliably at WSID. p.s that's my patrol and it ran 15.0
  6. if i used my skyline as my daily i'd go gas for sure. my patrol is turbo gas(250rwkw) and my old stag, the one n1gtr is talking about, is as well. i've seen up to 600hp so far with no issues and that's with single converter and 6 injectors. if anyone is interested in getting it done let me know.
  7. Only a week to go! Shame you couldn't enter tim.
  8. so does anyone have any pics of their set up?
  9. We are pleased to announce that Nowra Auto Barn is offering prizes for our show n shine competition, so enter now. Email [email protected] to put your name down.
  10. I'm still undecided on this. I find it very frustrating when I'm trying to diagnose a prolem and sometimes having a tune locked makes it harder. I don't lock ecu's, but with some customers i'm tempted because you just know there going to play with it and cuase themself problems.
  11. my defi guage flashes end beeps if there's a problem.
  12. Thanks Genelle, glad you can come Yes but will you be man enough to bring the GTR?
  13. THE BIGGEST DYNO DAY - 15th May NSW Venues O2 Auto Sports 25 Norfolk Avenue South Nowra 02 4423 0977 [email protected] Hunter All Wheel Dyno ESP Racing The Biggest Dyno Day is the result of a group of enthusiastic automotive trades' people wanting a challenge, that involved all of their skills. 10 dynos around Australia all running at the same time! - VIC, NSW, SA, QLD, MACKAY, WA, KALGOORLIE and TAS. All dynos are video linked so that the audience watching at one venue, will be able to watch the rest of Australia do their runs. The organizational group consists of over 60 automotive trades' people. With their knowledge and understanding of what the public wanted, they came up with this idea. Most of the venues will have multiple workshops working together, bringing the trade even closer (yet another strange thing to be done). For example, in some states we have workshops flying staff in to help out another workshop. To be involved in something like this is a once in a lifetime experience: If not to run your car, just to be there to watch. Free entry for spectators, BBQ and drinks on site. To enter you need to register on line at Biggest Dyno Day website and pay $50 to O2 Auto Sports. There will also be a show 'n' shine for those who would like to bring there pride and joy, to place on display. Call or email to participate. Together we are trying to make this the biggest dyno event in Australia's automotive history and to have fun doing it. FOR FUTHER INFO VISIT: www.biggest-dyno-day.com One of the NSW locations is - O2 Auto Sports , South Nowra, 2 hours south of Sydney, on a 2wd Mainline Dyno on the 15TH OF MAY 2010.
