Hey guys Been looking through the forums and haven't found anything similar to what iam having problems with, so here it is. on start up and the car is idling it drops down a bit in revs and then picks back up When traveling you put your foot down abit the turbo spools up and boost comes on up the car does not go anywhere, now when you you do this is sounds like the car is not getting enough air / fuel. and almost sounds like a spark pulg is not firing correctly. i have given the air filter a clean, check to see if afm is firmly plugged in This problem dissapears once the engine has heated up abit..runs fine ! Can anyone help
  3. Hey all.. i got a s2 r33 gts-t , just wanting to know what voltages i should read across the afm .. i have done a search on this forum site and havnt found answer to my question. Also good search and cant find what i want just frustrating ! so please dont flame your help would be appreciated.

  5. Hey guys just been playing around with it to test the coil packs. When it plays up remove the a plug on a coil one by one.. a change in engine nose will indicate a good coil and no change will indicate a bad one.. I have no bad ones to say.. but just a bad connection. On a coilpack i noticed if i stuck the plug in a certain positon the fault would clear, and by moving it back it would reappear. So i think i have this thing sorted now. I was already to go out and buy some new coil packs .. looks like i dont need it now YAY ! Cheers guys
  6. Hey Guys Been trolling the forums for a while and seems like this happens a bit.. I own a r33 97 s2 skyline, with an rb25det engine in it.. the car has been miss firing on a cylinder on and off for a while now.. some times it misses and comes back good, some times it doesn't and i need to turn the car off for like a minute and then it will restart fine. I have replaced the plugs in it. first up it had standard NGK Plugs in it with a .8m gapping and replaced them with NGK PLatium plugs at 1.1m and this seemed to fix to until about a week down the track the fault reoccurred. Thinking that the gaping was big i bought some more standard plugs with the .8m gaping and it still plays up. The NGK plugs i pulled out were orange as well which i found to be odd. This only seems to happen once its been running for a while. But it is becoming more frequent. Could anyone tell me if my car has OBD2 or 1 ? I have placed a bottle of injector cleaner into the car as well which has well and truely gone through the system by now.! Can someone please point me in the right direction. !

  11. Hey guys. got a pic of what iam chasing, its the plastice put that goes under the steer wheel and where the fuses are.. This is a R33 GTST skyline.

  15. Have no work do to lately, the water pump that will be another thing to check Thermal fan does kick in .. i will change the coolent and see how i go .. any recommendations on a good qualitt coolent ?
  16. Hey guys. Just wanting to get a few opinions on a few things. I own a r33 Series 2 Gts-t Skyline. i have no problem with over heating when on the move because getting good air circulation. the problem is when iam just putting around town or in traffic.. Now it only seems to get xtreamly hot when putting around town with the ac on, the ac evaporator sits between the thermal fan and the radiator. On the highway the temp is fine and the ac works great. With the ac off it works even better.. and getting around town with the windows down and no ac is just silly. Would putting in a second thermal fan make much difference or do i just need a better coolent ?
