  1. Yes, the engine I am looking at is the non vct out of a R32, cheers for that response let me know how the swap goes
  2. Are the looms for the RB20DET and the RB25DE Non VCT the same?
  3. Hey Guys, I have been reading through threads about this but non are really specific to the RB25DE NON VCT. I would like to know if an RB20DET ECU will run an RB25 non vct and are the looms the same? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Aaron
  4. If you only have the engine post it up!
  5. Looking again!
  6. best non turbo setup I have seen period, good for my RB26/30 conversion GL with the sale mate
  7. I am chasing an R32 to be a potential home for my RB26/30 once I have finished it. However, rather than waiting until the end of the build and have my engine sitting around for months, I would like to purchase an R32 now so I can work on the Body/Chassis while building my engine. So, I have up for sale my current car (you can see it via this link http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/362895-1994-ford-fairlane-nc/page__p__5791628__fromsearch__1#entry5791628) and if anyone is interested in swaps I am keen to have a look at what you have to offer. if not, just let me know if you are selling anyway because I may also get the money from the sale of my car. Cheers, Aaron
  8. Hahaha touche, However, I have my eyes set on a 32 for the time being but who know's the engine may have several homes in the future Cheers
  9. Item Summary: 1994 FORD FAIRLANE NC, Tasteful modifications, cruiser with oomph Location: QLD: Brisbane Postcode: 4128 Odometre: 23X,XXX kilometres Asking Price: $1 Condition: Used Reason for Selling: Looking for an R32 Delivery Methods: PickUp Contact Info: PM or MOBILE 0433 444 854 Extra Information: Throwing up the old girl for interest, don't need to sell her just thought I would throw her up. I am chasing an R32 to be a potential home for my RB26/30 once I have finished it, however at the moment I have a 1994 ford fairlane that is in perfect running condition with a full exhaust, pedders sports ryder suspension, ROH wheels, good condition paint and body (besides to panels which I can fix), I have changed the lighting in the dash to red and white to match the car a little better, I have put an LTD bonnet on it, I have also put a shift kit in it, AUTO by the way, CFC Free air-con, Leather Steering wheel (LTD), I have made a custom 12" subwoofer box for it I am finishing soon and I have decked out the car with $400 worth of wiring for a massive stereo with a second battery in the back. Couple of more things. I am the third owner, the first were an old couple and the second, a young Chinese lad, so it hasn't been thrashed. It is quite reliable and has all the things that usually fault over the years (fuel pump, throttle cable, intake manifold gasket, coil, battery) replaced. It is comfy and is a good car to go from A to B that can be a bit noisy if you are in the mood. I also have the NA fairlane factory manual (RARE) that has everything the NC has to be honest just a couple of tasteful differences that the NC has over the NA. I have a revs check with it, and ever since the day I have bought it, it has run on V-Power. Finally, I have just done a service on it roughly 2,500 km ago. I also have a chiptorque chip waiting in bubble wrap. I will be doing some more modifications to the car soon if I have no interest in the near future. Shoot me a text or PM if you are interested or you have an R32 you would like to swap. Cheers, Aaron
  10. Wew, just what I need
  11. Ofcourse there are some things I forgot to mention intially
  12. Thanks mate and on that note, I have purchased the RB26DETT Head for the build, I cannot wait for it to arrive, I am going to get it sent for crack testing ASAP so I can start thinking about saving for the headwork.
  13. No worries we will see when it is completed haha. Cheers for that jangles, and don't worry I have plenty of confidence in the guys I am entrusting with my build. This week I think I may have a chat with Clay to sort out and finalise the turbo selection and dimensions of my plumbing.
  14. That much I do know as I have been brought up in the drag pits since I was 6 years of age and I have seen my fair share of wicked Blown V8's and Methanol guzzlers. Thing is I don't want a V8 in an old cheap car, I want a skyline with an RB26/30 because I love the combination of torque, power, comfort and style of the R33 Skyline with an RB26/30. Different applications call for different budgets. Connections and simple know how can bring down the price while keeping the build legit. I know I won't build it for under $15,000 but I am not phased by it at all. By all means thank you, but I just want to say once again I am not building it for a cheap/legit/quick car because it isn't really possible, but I am building it because I want to. It is like saying you can buy an orange because it is cheaper than an apple because they are both fruit but thing is, I want an apple. I have thought about other shells such as 350z's (pipe dreams) but it is all to much stuffing around to get it to fit.
