thats correct, Its like the car has no rego. you need to get a Blue Slip not a pink slip(roadworthy), Green slip CTP insurance, then pay stamp duty and rego costs and you need to buy NSW plates, its 80ish dollars for the white slim line plates and 37 for the BIG yellow and black number plates, blue slip is around 80-100 probally depends on which mechanic you take it too, green slip is 450-550 depends on insurance company, stamp duty is 3% of cost of the car so say if the car is 10 grand it will be 300 for stamp duty, and rego is about 350 or so then plates, you can also get a refund on the vic rego, if ur sydney or something im not sure how u do it as i live on the border of nsw and vic so the vicroads (vic RTA) is 5 mins away and i took it there and refunded it, they probally send the plates away or something not sure,, also the Vic road worthy does nothing at all.. so if they asking a high price with rwc tell them no rwc, doesnt do anything

hey guys i have a r32 gtr and its got a spun the bottom end..I have no intentions of rebuilding it for about 18 months, and I've cancelled the rego. the actual question is.. what should i do to the car eg drain all the fuel out, its got about half a tank of fuel. its probally going to go stale in that time. What else?? drain the engine oil, remove battery? also should i get a car cover?? the car is sitting in a shed but it still gets really dusty. do they help much. any other things i should do?? Selling because they came with my Car and i have no need for both items have receipt for the n1 oil pump, Nismo fuel pressure regulator $100 used but in good condition came off a r33 GTR. O ring is brand new. and has mounting screws. N1 oil pump, brand new in box, $400 Receipt for oil pump will post at buyers exspense. Cheers Tim

my GTR is exactly the same as this, its got the MA code in the vin numbe, they also have no rear window wiper and on the dash it has no switch for it either,

my Gtr is non accident does that mean i can sell it for 80 grand

Car passed! . car r32 gtr: mods apexi suction kit, HKS front and dump pipes,stock cat, and i put on a stock r32 gtst exhaust from my other car sat a 10-20 mil under rear bumper but still fitted to the car fine. it was 88 DB each test

they just have to test the exhaust, i called the epa the other day and thats all they said i had to do.. my car has a coolant leak from one of the heater hoses near the back of the head so i asked for a week to get it fixed before inspection but they just said no if u dont get it done by the 20th my rego will be suspended and if i dont get it done by 27th ill get a fine and will be rego canceled.

cars going in sunday morning for test hopefully it passes

well i live in albury which is 650kms from sydney and on the sheet doesnt say i have to go to a inspection just get the exhaust tested.. my mechanic has the sheet with that part on it and cant remember wat it says

ahh yeh, hopefully they just have to check the exhaust since i dont have to go to one of there testing stations should be ok.

So i received a letter in the mail with this inside (pic below) Defect Vehicle Notice... for exhaust noise levels. it says i dont have to removed my an authorised officer which is good. but the thing i dont get is... The date it is issued 30/3/11 i wasnt even driving my car that day was in my garage.. and i have never been pulled over in this car.
