  1. Hey Scott can you PM me your number? I've been waiting for you to chime in and would like to pick your brains on this one. Thanks!
  2. Thanks but nah this car was stock standard when I bought it 8 years ago. When I say sluggish it's almost like it's in limp mode taking probably 20 secs from 0-100!
  3. Hi guys, I just did a transmission swap with an 05 350z 5spd auto RE5R05A. Was performed by a trans specialist. All went well with the swap except now the car drives really sluggishly. Does anyone know what the issue is? Is this ECU related? Mine is an 04 V35 sedan series 2 with the same part number transmission. Anyone have any ideas or point me in the right direction would be much appreciated!
  4. I'm surprised you had to roll guards for 18x8! Those are pretty much factory specs. My Car is lowered about 40mm, rolled rear guards and the above pic was running 275 tires with no issues at all on 19x9.5 +30
  5. For sale: Brand: Rays Engineering Model: LMGT4 Specs: 5x 114.3 Size: 19x8.5 +25; 19x9.5 +30 Set of 4 Willing to ship: pick up south side Brisbane/can post to most states in the eastern seaboard for additional cost Tyres: yes plenty of tread left Bridgestone rears, Yokohama fronts. 8. Pretty sure that's not a factory colour
  9. I like it! Very retro and props for being original. From one wheel whore to another lol.
  10. nice one Bee! Just make sure you don't back into a human or else you will decapitate them
  11. can u pls pm me some pics? thx.
  12. Do you have pics of your recaros? my seats are cream but not leather....are the recaros ADR approved do you know?
  13. U should post some pics so we can see how much room u have at the guards.
  14. Being an 11" wide wheel and +20 offset I'm assuming you won't have much room to move outside your guards, so the only remedy would be to find another wheel preferably 10" wide. If you still have room to move then a spacer will fix this but highly illegal.
  15. I see your coupe and I raise you a sedan
  16. I bought the exact same one from Ebay a few months ago, thought I could save a few bucks and just pay for installation. Ended up not being a straight fit as the mounting points for the fan were completely different and required modification. In the end I returned it got a refund and mechanic found one in NZ that was a direct fit and OEM as well. Ended up costing around $700 all up too. Mine was a series 2 sedan though and thats why it didn't fit apparently. If yours is a coupe it should be OK, but still I wouldn't guarantee it.
  17. still for sale....no sedans in need of lowering??
  18. If you are in Sydney then check out Nagoya Motors. I bought mine from there 6 yrs ago If you do a search you will see plenty of positive reviews about this dealer. Highly recommended.
  19. At the end of the day, a seller will always want the most they can get and the buyer will want to pay the least for the best. Sellers can price theirs cars any which way they want to. Whether they will get that price is another story. At the moment I think buyers have the upper hand as there is more supply than demand. I could buy a V36 from Japan with what some sellers are expecting for a V35
  20. I wouldn't necessarily conclude buying from one is safer than the other. Remember, at one point in time, you will probably be a private seller as well. One positive from buying from a reputable dealer is that you normally have an option for warranty and someone to fall back on in case something bad happens. At the end of the day it all comes down to a bit of common sense, a bit of intuition/gut feel and doing the normal checks to find the best bang for buck car out there. go out and test drive as many as you can. no point posting links in here...everyone is going to have their own opinion on different cars and you could be missing out on an otherwise well presented car. Good luck with your search.
  21. Winding back kms is not limited to jap imports only. It is common practice in any used car industry which is a risk u take when u buy 2nd hand. If you want to avoid this then you are better off buying a brand new Australian delivered car which for the budget you are on will probably get you a Nissan Micra.
  22. Yes I bought them used with around 10ks on them from an 06 Zed
  23. last of the v35s were made in 2006. No such thing as a V35x. And yes interior is a dead giveaway...its only a series 1.
