guys cut him some slack...everyone knows you probably won't get the price you start at when selling online...gives room for low ballers. If he starts his price at 22k, some dickhead will probably offer him 18K. At the end of the day it will sell for whatever people are willing to pay or depends on how desperate the seller is. GL with the sale.

Congrats Noel and Team! I've been to a couple of SCCs over the years and this year was by far one of the most organised and fun drives! Ending at Lakeside with the parade lap was awesome! See if you can include some Happy Laps next year

7hrs from Syd to Brisbane?? how fast were you driving?? I had similar mileage few years back when I first got my 350GT sedan...drove from Bris to Newcastle on one tank...approx 800kms.

you can never guarantee it wouldn't have happened even if he had done the tranny service. If he had done more research in the first place and stayed away from the CVT it would have been a much better experience.

Based on how quickly it sold, I guess you just shot yourself in the foot again. Don't blame imports for your poor experience, you only have yourself to blame for not doing adequate research prior to purchase. The CVT oil is expensive but doesn't cost $2K. $300 for a head light is cheap! Try ringing mitsubishi and see how much they quote for a replacement headlight for your car.. You should ring around wreckers and find out for yourself. If you were in Brisbane I would probably snap it up and double my money just by selling the parts. Engine alone is probably worth more than $2K. Do a search for import wreckers in your area or even import dealers.

wreckers would probably give you more than $4500 if you are desperate.

Wheel offset calculator - use the specs on your existing wheel as the comparison to see how much inner and outer clearance you will have with the new wheels http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Tire Size calculator - used to ensure you do not deviate too much from your factory overall diameter as this will affect your speedo.
