  1. very nice...starting to like them now...how reliable are these motors when they get up to around the 170K mark?? How are parts availability like compared to say a skyline? http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=7665
  2. Not sure if these are works but very similar design to the VS XX
  3. Try the meguiars one...u won't go wrong...u'll find it takes less time to dry ur car compared to normal cloths...
  4. Nice! White rims FTW! Gunmetal are nice too but not so good for photos IMO...nice choice
  5. Haha cool count me in...my meguiars one is wearing out..need a new one...perhaps write to meguiars and get them to do a deal for SAU...GB for members in return for the SAU logo on it rice to the max!!!
  6. VIP Wheels SOLD pending payment! Work Wheels still available.
  7. O2 sensors can be purchased from Nissan but they are expensive. The R34 ones are the same as an EL falcon O2 sensor from memory...do a search or someone can confirm this...mine was replaced at around 40ks with the ford falcon one...cheaper option does the same thing. Radiator caps are mostly universal..u can get ricey blitz or nismo ones from autobarn or ebay..bout $30 roughly.
  8. Details mate? What did he do, how was he priced and location would be good.... HEhe damn u CTjet beat me by 1 min
  9. It will look worse than ASS!!!
  10. Here's a website in HK that I have tried ordering from but they never fkin reply to my emails???!! But a good template for you to work off, quite a few choices too... http://www.d1-zone.com/s-strips.html Can u make any of those???
  11. Nice ride mate. Either remove the wing completely and patch the holes or leave it on. Don't remove just the sides as it will look worse! If you leave it on, get some shit hot jap wheels...will take ppls attention of the wing Welcome, the forum is a wealth of information...start by using the search function.
  12. resprays are never cheap, and if they are, you get what you pay for. Basic respray just outside, would cost upwards of 2k for a decent sand back, fix dents jobby
  13. You must mean Chris Neale at Wheels Revolution, located in Moss St, Slacks creek, QLD. I have had wheels repaired there as well and very good service. They can turn a filthy wheel into a brand new one quite easily...jobs range from $40 onwards depending on what needs to be done ie: fixing minor gutter rash, repainting, machining or full on re-weld etc...highly recommended.
  14. no worries...are ur plates supposed to rear GONER or BONER??
  15. Not sure if its the same...but with my Teins, I wind the rings UP to increase the height...at the same time compressing the springs...to lower it, u wind it down...The two rings should be moved up or down together.. Some coilovers are the opposite apparently.
  16. pretty eash to tell if it is height adjustable...some pics would confirm this. There should be a ring underneath the the lower spring seat which is normally used to wind it up or down.
  17. ur car rocks shonen!!!
  18. I don't see parts availability for a skyline to be an issue and aftermarket parts support is available widely as well...only issue would be body panel replacement parts in the event of an acco...if its an insurance jobby, they would need to be flown in from japan... Otherwise, costs and maintainence wise would be similar. Gotto watch out for those WRX gearboxes though as they tend to be a weakpoint in the older models.
  19. For a GTST ideally you would be looking for the following specs: Front 17x8 (offsets +30 - +35) Rears 17x 9 (offsets +35 - +40) Best to also test fit the fronts to make sure they clear 4 pot brake calipers.
  20. Wrx as a benchmark??? I don't think so.... Anyways...u really gotto learn how to google WRX SPECS
  21. here's another one : Import comparions Dont take the max power of 208kw on the R34GTR as gospel....apparently thts just the legal limit in japan but it puts out more in the flesh.
  22. spotted 55SUP drivin behind me on warrigal road...White R33...
  23. not a bad turnout... 3 x 32 GTRS 2 x 33 GTSTs 3 x 34 GTTs Few of the regulars couldn't make it and a Few new faces and heaps of Skylines doing drivebys and not even stopping to say hi! Thanks to those tht rocked up, hopefully more will next time
  24. should've got the subs first instead of the rears...u technically don't need them. But yeah should sound pretty decent if installed properly.
  25. R34GTR rims fit most skylines with stock guards coz they're only 18x9 +30. The above Bee*r rims in question 18x9.5 +25 will stick out like dogs balls at the rear. You would need to pump the guards out a fair bit. +38 at the rears will probably just stick out by a couple mm, but being a 9.5 wheel, u will need to see if it clears aftermarket coilovers IF you have them....a few factors to consider but at those specs, don't expect to fit them without minor mods/scraping
