Well I took it in to a few wheel shops for opinions and thats what they told me. and got the wheels balanced a couple of times...when I took the spacers off, no more shakes...

Ok here goes... I recently lowered my car too...was sitting at 340mm on the fronts with 225/40 18 tyres...no problems at all. Then I switched front tyres to 235/40 18 tyres and they scrape a bit at the rear of the guards when I'm going up my driveway at full lock... Raised the height to 350mm and it seems to be fine now but very close at full lock... Hope that gives you an idea...oh and mine is an R34 GTT btw..didn't realise going from 225/40 to 235/40 made that much difference...

what about items over 1k like wheels for example...would that attract additional customs duties like Nengun??

I've got 5mm slip on ones lying around... Tried the 20mm bolt on ones before...made my steering shake going between 100-110 no matter how many times i tried balancing the wheels...in the end I gave up and bought proper wheels that fit without spacers... Not recommended from a legal perspective.

tht definately looks like adjustment for damper settings. Take a pic of ur strut and post it up...u might have height adjustments as well...

yeah its a sad state when u see the prices drop to what they are today compared to a year ago. I tried asking an import dealer what mine was worth as a trade a couple months back and they offered me 15K max..(99 GTT Auto with around 70ks). They would obviously try and flog it for 25k if they got it and make a tidy profit. Try selling privately if you're not desperate, you won't lose as much.

These are mine for sale at the moment.... 80mm dish at the rears and 60mm at the fronts..not excessive but these will fit stock guards

they're made by GP sports I'm pretty sure...I found these on yahoo auctions and gave the link to homerules on ns.com . He can get them in and they are good value too..around 2K+ for a set of 18s.
