  1. don't know who is the more stupid person...the one driving or the one holding the video cam...they both probably had a death wish
  2. you have PM.
  3. is there a sticker somewhere? maybe a pic of both wheels...
  4. if it is exactly the same model, width and offset, then more than likely its the disk thats different. Chk on the insides of the spoke or on the sticker...it should have O, A or B something like tht...A is for high caliper clearance, O is low....jap wheels are a mystery sometimes...
  5. the width is most likely the same...u probably got the wrong offset wheel. The offset of a wheel determines how curved in the spokes are for the same wheel. Another factor is the disk of the wheel, whether its low caliper or high disk clearance wheels also determine how the spokes are curved. Hope that makes sense. two identical width wheels of the same model may look different depending on the offsets.
  6. I should go back there someday and chk out the action..thts where i'm from
  7. hey dude, I've just replaced my stock suspension with Teins and my stock suspension is just sitting there doing nothing. Make me an offer and you can have it. Located on southside brissie, Runcorn. Cheers, Jon
  8. Got them today and fitted bout 10 mins ago!! Thanks Kez!! Here are some piccies...R34GTT auto bezel. FYI, they fit perfectly, just getting to the dash was a bit tricky...otherwise all good. Enjoy!
  9. Hey Kezza, Sent mine out yet?? Itching to get it here
  10. backwards in performance but forwards in comfort and luxury....love the 318s, just don't dump it on 20" chromies like everyone else out there.
  11. spotted FOG35 Thurs...i think it was on Smith St, Purple 32...remembered when I saw u browsing this thread nice car...
  12. Sorry for hijacking ur thread Jade: What is the nissan part number for an R34GTT oil filter? I know they use the smaller one Z442 (nissan Micra) as opposed to the R33 ones Z145a. I've heard the Nissan ones are cheaper than the Ryco or aftermarket ones... Thanks.
  13. I mean thinner width tyres not lower profile....lowering ur profile will throw ur overall rolling diameter out. If you have 9" wide wheels at the rear...try fitting 235 instead of 265...at the front try using 215 instead of 235. Might help if you told us ur wheels specs.
  14. You've probably got the wrong widths or offset wheels on. Not much you can do besides raising it up a bit. What wheels and offset are u running? The other option may be to run thinner profile tyres ie: stretching the rubber. Might just give you the clearance you need.

whats your definition of decent prices? If you're not fussed on brand...ur local bob janes, ozzy tyres can supply n fit 17s with new tyres for around 1k or less in some cases. Also have a lurk around the for sales section as well...often there are sets going for 600-700...
  16. the increased pressure to 1.3 is meant to be better for your radiator if anything. Shouldn't cause any problems at all. I'm using a Blitz one which holds 1.3 as well.
  17. ummmm....why can't u be stuffed using the aircon? Its there for a reason.
  18. hey chris, PM me a price on supply and fit of this said stuff for the 34 Cheers, Jon
  19. exactly the same as aus spec...5k F 4K R
  20. Well I finally bit the bullet and went for a brand new set of Tein Super Streets (jap spec) not the Fulcrum ones....and they got fitted today. Those of you who know me know my dillema was choosing between the Bilstein group buy kit and the Super Streets. All I wanted was to lower the car, improve handling, retain ride comfort and most importantly, be able to get into my stupid driveway into my garage without destroying my front lip. Well I jumped in my car after it was installed feeling very nervous about driving away and feeling every bone shattering bump on the road (as are notorious with Tein coilovers) and to my surprise it was bloody awesome!!!! Car was lowered by around 30mm front n rear, handling was vastly improved by the reduction of body roll, I purposely ran over a pot hole to test it out and it absorbed it better than my stock suspension and to my relief I got into my garage without a scrape! (it was really a miracle...see below pic for before pics and how much clearance I had to get into my driveway) The damper settings were dialled to the softest at the moment and to be quite honest, the ride comfort has not been compromised at all, if anything it was slightly firmer and absorbed the bumps better than the stock suspension. I've had JIC coilovers in my Silvia before and I would get a sore back after driving it everytime, they were crap! so I was quite hesitant to ever go back to coilovers. So to end it all, those of you who are contemplating this option, I say go for it, you won't be disappointed. I'm so happy I can't wipe this silly smile off my face! Please don't turn this into a Bilstein vs Tein bash...I have no doubt the Bilsteins are great as well. Cheers, Jon
