welcome mate, If you do a search there was a comparo between the XR6T and GTT a while ago...pretty comprehensive, and both had their pros and cons.

I would recommend that you walk away...there are better fish in the sea. If he's proving to be a hassle/dishonest even before selling the car, think of what his attitude would be after you have handed over your hard earned $$ and something DOES go wrong? The best dealers I've had dealings with were honest and upfront right from the start but more importantly, were still willing to help you as a customer after you have bought the car.

It will all depend on the condition of the wheel. Drop in and see him, his prices are very reasonable. Chris's business was recently featured in HPI mag and he was quoting repairs from $40 per wheel.

Chris Neale at Wheels Revolution, moss st, slacks creek. He's fixed a few of my wheels, and he is well known in the industry. You will think they were brand new after he's done with it.

Selling my wheels as I have my eyes on another set. They are Work LS 105 luxury wheels. 18x8 +35 18x9 +40 Front tyres 225/40 18 Silverstone Evolution VIII (50%) Rear tyres 235/40 18 Silverstone Evolution VIII (50%) These wheels were purchased brand new for 3.2K about 6 months ago and had new tyres put on for bout 1K. They are in immaculate condition bar a few scratches on one wheel which have been sanded and polished back and a small stone chip as pictured. Overall condition is as new. Has a fair bit of dish on the rears and a small lip on the front. I only know of two other sets in Australia one is still in the showroom and another one is on an SUV. If you want to be unique this is the wheel for you! Asking $2500ono. Wheel located in Brisbane, southside. Inspections welcome. As far as I know, the coupe exhausts can be retro fitted to a sedan with a bit of mucking around but they are slightly different in length. If you look at Jap spec exhausts, they have specific ones for 2dr and 4dr GTT.

Anyone notice that this thread is a year old now?? Nevertheless a good read for those that have just come along. FYI, not long after the above was written, Myth has been the proud owner of a 4 Dr GTT for the past year.

mate, don't mean to burst ur bubble...u might have 20k to purchase a skyline but at the end of the day, have you accounted for running costs and maintainence? Fuel, maintainence, insurance, rego??

Ppl are making personalised nissan badges and so forth, making these kick plates would be a piece of cake for someone who knows their way round metal fabrication...even key cutting places that do engraving might be able to do them if we supply the correct plate??

If you can't afford the insurance, you can't afford the car. IF you buy the car and don't insure it, don't come on here and whinge that ur car was stolen and u didn't have insurance.

Ring just cars insurance. At a guess because of your age, I'd say a minimum of 2K at least if not more.
