  1. Damn it Frog! I don't have it??!! Buying a new car in Japan must be loads of fun. They must have a whole book of factory extras that you can pick! Glad my previous owner picked the sunroof instead
  2. Here u go, http://www.webdelivery.com.au/carsinfo.htm Hope tht helps if not try asking in nissansilvia.com or megala.com.au Cheers!
  3. I've been recommended Marshalls as well by a reputable tyre dealer. He had them on his XR6T and a lot of reps use them for sheer durability. Not a performance tyre by any means, all depends on what you are after.
  4. Was this how they got into your car Dan? Very worrying. Anymore info you can give us on this matter? If its too sensitive to mention in the thread feel free to PM me. Cheers Jon
  5. pardon my ignorance but whats involved in fitting a shift kit interms of cost and labour? What does it actually do? From what I've heard, the R34 transmission coolers are pretty efficient. But interested in shift kit though....
  6. Woodridge is the first plc you'd wanna look if you ever got a car stolen! Hope alls good when you get everything sorted out and insurance doesn't stuff u around!
  7. what modifications are needed if any to fit an R4Gtt?
  8. Thanks abo, I know which post you're talking about, I saw it only 2 days ago. I've used the search function and searched thru 25 pages in the FS section still can't locate it. Deleted??
  9. Searching for a coin tray for the R34GTT if anyone has a spare one lying around. Its the one located just underneath the dash on the right hand side of the drivers side. Mines broken and doesn't sit in properly anymore coz one of the hinges broke. Thanks!
  10. I would also try ringing up your insurance company and ask them if they will cover you if you had a CF bonnet...they should have a fair idea of whats legal and whats not. That said, there has been a handful of ppl that have been defected for CF bonnets in the past so go figure..??
  11. so does this mean they're pretty much legal if switched on plumb back mode?
  12. Tht explains firefrogs figures then...i think his turbo was disconnected momentarily :jump:
  13. 66ks for a 98 model is a little on the high side. There's quite a few to choose from in QLD. Ring Motorman imports or check out their cars in the trading post. They've got around 10 at any one time in all variations. 42K is definately very steep and for a car that is mildly modded as well I would want to go through the car with a fine tooth comb before purchasing. You'd be better of buying a stock one for around 30k+ and spending the extra cash to mod it urself...much more fun that way Good luck in ur purchase...I learnt a lot from this forum before purchasing mine only about 3 mths ago...do a search and u'll find heaps of info!
  14. yeah thx for the huge turnout! we had a ball!
  15. sky's still blue over here southside of brisbane. No sign of rain clouds. If it remains this way I'll definately still be there. Hands up those who feel the same???? !!
  16. SOLD! pending deposit. ax53b70: will let u know if it falls thru. chef_32: for $900 u can prob buy urself a nice set of R34GTT standard mags.
  17. damn! was lookin forward to this thurs! If the weather is good is anyone still keen to meet? Keen to meet all the R34 owners !
  18. Alarms and immobilisers are all good deterents. Neither will prevent a thief from stealing your car if they really want it that bad. I find one of the best ways of detering these guys is choose where you park very carefully. Find a spot which is highly visible to the public or where u can keep an eye on. Even in shopping center carparks I always find a spot nearest to the entrance etc...avoid dark unlit or really empty parking lots. Choosing Where u park will definately make a difference. my 2 cents!
  19. Afro, were u playing with a Monaro recently on the M1???
  20. $400 for 18s???? That can't be right anyways...should have done a search b4 asking the stupid question... Thanks for all the input. Got a set of Goodyear GSDIIIs quoted at around $1800 fitted. Will try and get a few more quotes before deciding. Meantime, if anyone has any recommedations with pricing let me know. Thanks!
  21. pics to [email protected] please. Are u willing to ship interstate and what ballpark figure are we looking at? Looking for a quiet system and I've heard good things about the fujitsubos. cheers
  22. Yes they do. I trial fitted them at a tyre shop and was about to get some tyres for it. The fronts sit flush at the guards and do not stick out. Selling as I have just purchased another set off JDMimports!
  23. cool...point noted and advice taken. any recommendations for around the 1.5k mark?
  24. Was doing a bit of shopping around for tyres today and was quoted $900 flat for a set of these in 235/40 18 and 265/35 18 fited n balanced. Quite a good price compared to some of the nangkangs out there for similar sort of money. Would like to know if anyone has had experiences with these tyres. Have been checking out the net and they've been given a 4/5 for noise and life and 3/5 for grip. They are non directional which is ok by me. I don't do any track or drag work, mainly highway driving and the occasional cruise If there are any other recommendations under the 1k mark would like to know as well. Any input would be much appreciated. Cheers Jon
