    There is no real power gains from the Z tube as far as I'm aware. Its a cheap intake mod which reduces restriction compared to the factory V35 intake pipes and as a bonus it gives a more aggresive engine note above 3-4K RPM. If you get it cheap why not...if ur gonna pay $200 for it I say go but an aftermarket shiny one with pod filter.

    getting back on topic...if u do plan to go 245s all around, remember our cars are RWD and hence factory specs were 245 at the rear for traction purposes and 225 at the front for manouverability. If it were an AWD GTR for example then yeah bigger tires all round would have more pros than cons.

    If its the USDM Z tube pictured above, then its not there. Its just the tube.

    I bought my z tube from a z owner who went aftermarket for $50. Shop around...anywhere is better than Nissan.!

    245/45 tires on an 8" rim is OK. I'm no expert but I believe having wider rears than fronts has something to do with improving handling charateristics of a vehicle. If I had 8" rims all around, I would probably go 235s on all rather than 245s. but thats just me. Never had a 245 on an 8" but I would assume there would be a bit more tire bulge compared to a 225 or 235.

    Any shipments over 1k from overseas and you will more than likely be pinged by customs. Next time, separate your orders to keep costs under 1k.

    I'm assuming you have seen my set for sale below: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...-G-t279581.html Not the perfect widths and offsets for a coupe but certainly an improvement over factory and at an affordable price too. Happy to do a test fit if you are in Brisbane. Otherwise if money is no object then get 9" and 10" F&R with +22 offsets. Just be prepared to pay over 4K including tires if you were to order brand new.

    Setup looks identical to the V and has those clips too but you won't be able to retrieve the filter until you have removed the airbox. Maybe you should go to your Z and try removing the filter. If you are not back in 2secs we'll understand
