  1. You are welcome Millos hope you are satisfied as the wheels look absolutely porn!
  2. Thanks for the headsup ceffy. So how do we tell which one we have? I've got an 01 and also 04.5 (series 2). How did you tell which model is being advertised?
  3. Check your build plate in your engine bay. And see if any of the numbers match RE5R05A under transmission. Mine was on the drivers side strut tower.
  4. Was having a look an Ebay and found this! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/nissan-350Z-brand-n...%3A3%7C294%3A50 Brand new 5SPD auto for a 350z. So I ducked into the garage and checked my build plate and both my 350GT and 300GT use the same RE5R05A auto transmission as listed above. Would be useful for anyone with an auto thats on its way out or maybe even replace the CVTs. I paid 5K to rebuild my auto GB in my previous Bluebird...so 1.5K for a brand new one is pretty cheap. Note: I'm not the seller...I'm even tempted to buy it just as a spare but its located in Melb and seller wants pick up only.
  5. Next year request for a diecast model instead
  6. I do layby too with a small deposit! perfect way to spend your tax refund.
  7. Thx mate...now I'm tempted to go just that little bit lower to get the full effect of the wheels. Will need to source some height adjustable suspension though.
  8. Juan, Tires are Falken FK452 245/40 front and 275/35 rears. This is my 3rd set of them and IMO are a good compromise for handling, performance and price. Offsets are +43 front and +38 Rear. Sucks to be a Sedan as they don't have anywhere near enough room to stick low offset wheels on. Cant wait to see your new wheels!
  9. No. 1 myth - Offset does not determine brake clearance. Disk type does or some people call it the X Factor. Below is an example of standard, low and high disk rims. Work Wheels normally denote this with O, R and A Rays use A,B and C SSR use Hi, Low, Standard If you are buying a Jap wheel the specs car will normally give you this info. Hope this clears things up Pete.
  10. My new Work Euroline FEs in 19x8.5 and 9.5
  11. Wheels looking good! Post some daytime pics. They are 20s yea?
  12. Both the works and SSRs will not require any guard rolling..they will sit nice and flush especially the rears.
  13. Make an offer! I do laybys as well for a small deposit for those of you waiting for your tax chqs!
  14. Hi all, Selling my Volks as I have upgraded to 19s. I would really like to see this on another sedan if possible. Offsets would suit coupes as well but won't look as agressive as compared to on a Sedan. 18x8 +33 18x9 +31 Tires are 225/45 Sumitomo HTR ZIII 70%; 245/45 50% $1100 when new Tyre review here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDisplay.jsp?ttid=93 Come with additional CF Rays wheel caps as well which cost me an additional $200 Selling the lot for $2800 pick up Southside Brisbane. If you are planning to stick this on your sedan, you will need to have been lowered at least 1" and rolled your rear guards. Will also suit R32,33,34. Wheels are flawless and the closest you will get to brand new! PM for more info.
  15. The above 350z anniversary wheels are one of the most sought after factory Nissan wheels. Rare and IMO one of the better looking ones. I would grab them if I were you. I had them on my 35 a while back but sold them.
  16. Where you located? What profile, brand and tread left on tyre? Condition? Thx.
  17. its not really a front lip. Its the black piece of plastic sitting underneath the front bar.
  18. +1 I just bit my tongue and moved on I wouldn't call your threads retarded .....just amusing
  19. Good one Chris! Let's see if you can get the navi working and while you're at it make it play iPods too I've got one too. I'll bring mine over sometime and we can drag race in your back yard
  20. Plenty of enquiries....no $ yet!
  21. If you're In QLD, read this: http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/resources/...r_vehicles2.pdf These laws vary from state to state. My understanding from the above is as long as: 1. Wheels do not protrude from outer guard 2. Do not foul any suspension parts 3. Overall diameter does not exceed 15mm from factory specs You should be fine.
  22. Get in while you can guys, its not everyday you get to have the "Chris Rogers" touch added to your car
  23. You will be hard pressed finding anything with a decent width and offset from a local tyre place. PM me with your budget (wheels only), whether ur chasing 18s or 19s and type of wheel. I will have a look around for you...there are plenty of good second hand sets around if you know where to look.
