F.s Volk Gt30 2 Piece Wheels With New Tyres
n15m0 replied to GTR_83's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I've seen people spend more $ on a stupid paint job or stereo installs at auto salons for which they will never be able to enjoy their car as a daily driver. Each to their own. Jap wheels are an acquired taste which few people appreciate. Speak to some of the R35 owners, they are spending in excess of 10K for 20" wheels imported from either Japan or US. Being 19s + brand new tires they are fairly priced. Whether he will get that depends on who the buyer is. Stop spamming his thread with useless comments. I wouldn't put BJT wheels on my car even if you gave them to me for free brand new. GL with the sale Nick, if the fronts were 8.5 I would have been keen. -
Nice one Geoff, I got the 300gt for my wife as well and for myself the 350 my 2 1/2 yr old daughter can now differentiate mom and dads car lol.

Will consider if there is no interest locally. Postage would be extra but as they are quite heavy. Give me a postcode and I will chk. -
Hi all, Have the following for sale, posting here as the wheels are proven offsets suitable for V35 sedans. 1. SSR Professor - silver (wheels only) 18x8 +31 18x9 +37 No gutter rash, few scratches and minor stone chips but overall excellent condition. These were previously on my 300GT, fit perfectly without need to roll guards. $2300 2. Work VS-KF - metallic black with anodised candy red studs and center cap. Custom color. (wheels only) 18x8 +38 57mm dish 18x9 +38 70mm dish Immaculate condition no rash, as new condition. Was going to go on my white v35 but have decided on a different set now. This is a custom color that you will not find on any other car in australia. $2500 3. 350z factory suspension - springs and struts Came of 03 350z with approx 30,000kms. In great condition, no leaks. Will lower sedans by 1" all round and coupes by 0.5". Best bang for buck suspension mod for your sedan if you are after a mild drop to suit your new wheels. Will not separate springs and struts. Selling as a set. $300 Prefer pick up Brisbane southside. Any questions feel free to PM. Thanks.

What 19" Rims? Immo M3s Or Work Schwert Sc2
n15m0 replied to siu_loong_bao's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
No worries. The chart is pretty conservative and does not take into account rolling guards, and lowering the car which produces natural camber. The limits can be pushed with the right setup -
it won't lower ur ride height, it will give u increased ground clearance. Rianto - the 225/45/18 & 245/45/18 combo is a bit of an exception to the rule, difference in OD is quite a fair bit and the 350zs came with these from factory, so I understand where you are coming from. But remember, our cars (sedan) came out of the factory with all 4 same width wheels and tyre profiles, so it would make sense to keep the OD front and rear as close as possible. There are guys in the US tht run 245/35/19 & 275/30/19..they are the ones who dump their cars and like running skinny tires which looks good.
-
245/40/19 = 678mm 275/35/19 = 674mm 245/45/18 = 677mm Don't argue with me I've done my homework, my tire guys agree with me and the guys in the US run this profile on their g35s Our cars are rear wheel drive, best to compare it with the rears.
-
They are both completely wrong profiles for a V35. Use the calculator and stick in 245/45/18 as your tyre then compare it with profiles in 19 inch. To give you an idea I'm running 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. Your overall diameter should be around 675mm on average +/1 15mm is ok

What 19" Rims? Immo M3s Or Work Schwert Sc2
n15m0 replied to siu_loong_bao's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Try this website instead of dodgy photoshop They have your car and color too and plenty of work wheels to choose from. http://www.fujicorporation.com/eng/sim/ -
Do a bit of research on g35driver.com plenty of info there. Coupes can take a much wider wheel/tire combo front and back not to mention run really low offsets as well. You should take full advantage of this if you have a coupe. My advice: 1. find the wheel that you like 2. see if they are available in 9" front and 10" rear 3. choose an offset between +10 to +15 4. Then use the tire calculator to work out tyre profile and width If you are looking locally at wheel shops etc, your choices will be significantly limited with regards to offset and width. Try sourcing 2nd hand Jap wheels, there are quite a few around if you keep your eyes peeled.

What 19" Rims? Immo M3s Or Work Schwert Sc2
n15m0 replied to siu_loong_bao's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
You will definately have problems fitting those widths and offsets quoted above unless you are prepared to dump the car, run excessive camber and skinny tires. 19s on a V are probably the optimum size. Mine doesn't look THT big because I am not dumped. The lower you go, the bigger the wheel looks. Type of wheel also asscentuates the size. A wheel with a lip/dish appears smaller than one that does not. My rears are already sticking out by bout 10mm but I have rolled my inner guards. Fronts I could have gone an additional 10-15mm. I could write a whole book on this but in the meantime, have a look at the attached chart for guidance. -
he will need a new ipod too.

Thanks. Fit and drive is great, can't feel much difference to my previous 18s. Speedo is not out. 19x8.5 +43 F; 19x9.5 +38 R. Front offset could have been better but beggars can't be choosers 245/40/19 fronts and 275/35/19 rears -
