  1. Personally I would refrain from spacers alltogether as they are highly illegal. Choose the wheel with the offset you want from the start. People who use spacers generally have not got the the correct wheels to suit their application. For track use, maybe...for road use...no.
  2. Glad you got it working! Apologies for not specifying. The pic I posted was googled from a USDM G35 just to illustrate what an I-key looks like. As far as I'm aware, the JDM V35s only came with 3 buttons, lock, unlock and boot release which is what I have as well.
  3. Good luck mate. Just be thankful you're not having the surgery done in QLD So when can we expect you to be back on the forums again????
  4. Awesome Dan! Suits the white very well. Very subtle yet different from the rest. Glad you like them If you do get bored later, powdercoat with polished lip is the way to go
  5. our intelligent key looks like this: Does not need to be inserted into the key hole. Just have it in your pocket and turn a switch in the car to start. Same goes with locking and unlocking, we have a button on our drivers side door and no key hole same goes with the boot. If you have the key in your pocket, just press the button and it locks and unlocks door.....hence the name intelligent key
  6. only applies to 35s that came with the intelligent key. All the stupid keys don't have it
  7. probably scraped by forklifts while transporting the car.
  8. When u start the car, does the "KEY" light on the dash flash green? If it does, its warning u, ur remote battery needs replacing. Happened to me few weeks ago. Replaced batteries, problem solved...no more KEY light flashing in green. I too have a 2nd keyless remote and i haven't used it in more than 6 mths and the battery is dead on that one so its not unusual, ur 2nd one is flat too.
  9. Btp is my favorite spot
  10. There's gotta be more photos than that!??? By the way, anyone know how much was officially raised and how many cars turned up?
  11. Here's a couple of happy snaps of the only 3 v35s that turned out to the VIC bushfire charity cruise on Sunday. Spot the Chris Rogers! VSP07 - ME Goldv35 VANDIT
  12. Manual to Auto - definately impractical and would only devalue your car instantly. Like others have said, even if you were successful, it will not look and feel like an original auto IMO and cost wise just does not make sense. If you were seriously considering auto, then sell your manual and buy an auto. Buy low, sell high!

  14. Hi all, Was a great day, awesome drive, brilliant location and to top it off it was for a good cause. Kudos to the team that organised it! I left my camera at home so didn't get many snaps apart from these which were from my phone. Post away!
  15. Great Day for a good cause! Someone start a pic thread in the main QLD forum. Thanks Noel and the SAU Team!
  16. Click my sig. Available for pickup Brissie!
  17. impossible to tell. You would need to find out PCD first. If it is 5x114.3, then yes they will fit on the hub. Next you will need to find out width and offset so see if they will rub on your guards or foul your suspension.
  18. Its probably the effects of the front lip and also going from 17s to 18s.
  19. OEM front lip, HKS muffler, clear side indicators and removed plastic window rain deflectors.
  20. I was thinking something like this would help http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Infiniti-G3...sQ5fAccessories My front bumper is now riddled with stone chips, will prob get it resprayed soon when the rear bumper gets done courtesy of insurance.
  21. Before: After: Now: 350z suspension mod was the best bang for buck mod I've ever done. Plenty more examples of coupes and sedans with Z suspension on the G35driver.com forum if you have a look.
  22. I have been running 350z suspension (shocks and springs) on my sedan for the past 6 months. Camber has been reduced to -1.25 all round. No uneven tire wear and rides much better than stock. A lot of G35 drivers in the US lower with 350z springs only with factory shocks and have had no real issues with camber as it lowers sedans by 1" all round and a bit less on coupes. Personally I would still go with the full setup, that way you are running matching shocks and springs from a Z. Z springs and V shocks will most likely wear out quicker IMHO.
  23. my blue one would be the same screen size yea??
