don't let the rarity of an expensive jap wheel deter you at all. If anything its a plus that you're getting it with the car. You will also have slightly better re-sale value once you get sick of the wheels and want something else. Definately unique looking wheels and better than anything you can buy locally. I vote you keep it, and lower the car to suit
They're either LM GT-1 or LM GT-2, either way they are a pretty popular old school nismo rim. Worth a pretty penny when new. 2nd hand depending on condition, width and offsets are probably worth up to 1.5k max in 17s.
Mark,
To fix up your wheels, speak with Chris at Wheels Revolution, Slacks Creek.
Due to the color of the coupe wheels, its gonna set you back close to $200 per wheel to get the scratches removed and the whole wheel repainted to factory color.
can you recommend anything that removes water spots from windows? Mine's got plenty and I've tried everything from waxes, polishes, etc etc...nothing seems to get rid of them.
Hi guys,
Just got a 2001 V35 300GT sedan today and the front bumper is missing the black plastic bracket to attach the number plates to.
A longshot but does anyone have a spare one lying around or know of a place where I can get one with the exception of Ex Japan??
Kthx!
$800 for a set of Tein Springs??????????????? Thats a bloody rip off!
Now i'm not 100% but am pretty certain the 250gt and 350Gt have the same suspension setup...if you can verify these then your options have widened as they will be compatible with 350z springs.
I am currently running a complete 350z factory suspension in my 350gt sedan. It is a straight fit and lowers the car by approx 1" all round. Most people in the US just replace the springs with the 350z ones and use existing struts, works as well.
I fitted a Z-tube to mine last weekend with the factory airbox and K&N panel filter as well. Apart from the more aggresive rev note around 3-4k rpm, I think there was a slightly noticeable increase in performance as well...but maybe thats just my ass dyno at work
Nangkangs and Maxxis are a cheap everyday driving tyre which are not the greatest but will do the job if you are a sedate driver. If you plan on modding ur car HP wise, then try the Federals or even the Falken FK452. Both should be under the $300 mark each for those sizes and should keep you sufficiently safe on the road.
Rays Wheels back up for sale!
Tosser paid me a deposit and kept on stalling, now he's changed his mind....so I'm keeping the deposit until the wheels are sold.
$1300 pickup no more no less!
SMIC, Intercooler duct and 1 x Nismo key still available!
Being 17s I'd say 1k max...18s would be worth a bit more. Pity they are only 7.5 wide in the fronts..if they were 8.5 and 9.5 then would be more popular.
